The FastTrack organization is committed to partnering with ITDMs as they shift their focus from discrete deployment projects to increased business value thru multiple projects that deliver a broader business solution. FastTrack for Microsoft 365 has a primary worldwide role in driving and executing this strategy at scale across our customers and partners while working side by side with multiple Microsoft engineering, data analysts, marketing, sales, support, and operational teams. We are looking for a seasoned and proven leader that shares the inherent passion to help our customers and partners align their digital initiatives to business value helping business and IT stakeholders rally behind a transformational vision with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft’s cloud.

Responsibilities

The Microsoft 365 FastTrack Product Management Leader will envision, develop, frame, evangelize and execute a solution-aligned strategy to deliver customer transformation scenarios as the Product Management leader for FastTrack. A key accountability of this role is defining and driving the vision and strategy for FastTrack as a product through various approaches and prototypes will be envisioned, defined, and piloted. From an execution standpoint, the leader will oversee the definition of the FastTrack metrics in the different solution areas and ensure that the capacity and strategy are fit for FastTrack purpose. This leader will work with the other functional leaders who build the FastTrack product spec through playbooks and tools as well as leaders who deliver the FastTrack product through a variety of levers including people, partners, migration, and automation. This role is an integral part of the FastTrack leadership team and is responsible for delivering Microsoft 365 metrics and business impact on a worldwide scale.

A successful Product Management Leader will be an effective and pragmatic leader with the unique ability to both evangelize and execute the vision leveraging multiple resources and teams across a matrixed organization. This leader would be an incessant learner and exceptional communicator with 10+ years of delivering or managing complex technical and business solutions in the mid-market and enterprise arenas while leading a diverse worldwide team.

Candidates ideally have experience in strategic planning and vision setting, critical thinking and organizational problem-solving skills, executive presentation and communication skills, conflict resolution abilities and cross organizational collaboration competencies with a demonstrated history of driving cross-organizational priorities in a matrixed environment. Exceptionally strong verbal and written executive and customer communication skills are a must.

Typical responsibilities include:

· Understand customer needs and disruptive tech and competitive trends to align the FastTrack benefit with customer, partner, and Microsoft’s business needs

· Define the right personas, customer journeys and opportunities for tighter IT/business integration to partner with customers on their transformation

· Oversee solution and program ideation and scenario definition to ensure customers benefit from the most appropriate portfolio of Microsoft 365 capabilities to meet transformational goals

· Act as trusted resource to a wide network of feature engineering teams by capturing customer, market and competitor knowledge and sharing insights, suggestions, and feedback loops to enrich product development

· Foster conditions for collaboration through a matrix and champion conflict resolution in a matrixed organizational WW model

· Work with all functional teams to ensure the FastTrack product has the right capacity and investment plans, is grounded in proper business forecasting, and is tracking metrics appropriately

· Work closely with business planning and marketing, WW field operations teams, finance, data analytics, and engineering teams

· Communicate and collaborate with technical, sales, engineering, and marketing business executives

· Validate strategic guidance with other FastTrack functions to ensure the FastTrack solution area approach is fit for FastTrack purpose

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of technical management in a technology focused organization

  • 10+ years of professional experience as a technical resource with regular customer or partner interactions

  • Bachelor or advanced degree in engineering or computer science or 10+ years equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of technical solution management or IT business value alignment across any of the envisioning, selling, deploying, value recognition phases in a technology focused organization

  • 5+ years of project management experience with a history of shaping end to end business programs with articulated mission, performance criteria and stakeholder buy-in

  • 5+ years of program management experience delivering multiple projects towards a broader business aligned outcome

  • Exceptionally strong customer and partner focus envisioning, evangelizing, designing, creating, executing, and operating scale technical solutions that deliver on the expected business and financial outcomes.

  • Exceptionally strong communication and presentation skills and ability to collaborate with different disciplines across multiple stakeholders

  • Executive communication and presentation skills focusing on clarity and simplification of messaging

  • Experience with implementing people processes at scale, deeply understanding specific functions, and thinking through all necessary steps, readiness and materials needed to successfully land changes across WW regions and teams.

  • Exceptional leadership acumen and demonstrated success in engaging virtual teams in a matrixed organization with the ability to influence others

  • Ability to analyze operational data to make informed strategic decisions balancing both experience with data analysis

  • Forward thinking and strategic, yet pragmatic and operationally savvy, with a commitment to every job well done

  • Personal passion and focus on diversity and inclusion to enable creative solutions to problems and to foster a climate of respect and proactive inclusion

  • Resolute focus on learning and growth mindset with the ability to negotiate win-win in complex cross organizational situations

  • Experience and knowledge working with Microsoft Field teams, Partners and customers strongly preferred

  • Background in Finance, data analysis and reporting, MBA, Prosci and/or PMP preferred
