Title:Field Marketing Manager
Reports to:Chief Marketing Officer
The position is focused on creating local marketing plans that drive sales. The person in this role manages the local store marketing budget, programs and activations in their assigned region. They will assist individual stores with connecting with guests, other businesses and the community. They will ensure that marketing communication initiatives coming from the Restaurant Support Center (RSC) are deployed and executed at 100%. The Field Marketing Managers are the experts in competitive information (i.e. if McAlister’s Deli drops a coupon) and informing the restaurants of market activities. They will lead all merchandising execution (POP, signage, window clings) and coach restaurant teams on ideal installation and maintenance. Field Marketing Managers will seek to discover root causes for sales/traffic drops by analyzing local promotions and market conditions and provide solutions.
Meets and exceeds all regional sales, traffic, and profit goals.
Via smart and innovative marketing, makes Boston Market the cornerstone of each community and trade area that we serve.
Flawlessly communicates with restaurants in a timely manner at all times.
Plans and executes local marketing promotions in assigned region.
Frequently visits the restaurants in the field.
Consistently looks for opportunistic media opportunities (DOT signage, OOH, partnerships)
Leads regional marketing rollout meetings.
Point person on the ground for all regional tests.
As a partner to operations, works closely and aligns with operations RVP to manage goals, solve sales challenges, and creates local partnerships.
Manages all POP execution; coaches and mentors restaurant teams on proper installation of POP and ensures all POP kits are installed on time.
Manages the regional field marketing calendar and communicates with restaurants as appropriate.
Reports all activity to RSC on a regular basis.
Manages all local creative requests from concept to execution.
Acts as the face of the community for local events to ensure 100% execution.
Travels with RVP (when needed) to understand challenges, build credibility, and brand knowledge.
Understands all Boston Market sales trends, seasonality, product mix, menu items and projections.
Expert level knowledge of all Boston Market promotions (item, media, projections, timing)
Familiar with what it takes to run Boston Market operations.
Assists with local and regional PR events.
Completes special projects as assigned.
Maintains behaviors and actions consistent with the company’s values and standards.
Works additional hours as needed.
Regular and punctual attendance.
Performs other duties as required and assigned.
Travels at least 50% of the time via car and air across the country as needed.

Significant time driving/flying to and visiting restaurant locations.
Withstand temperatures of 0 degrees Fahrenheit or less and 100 degrees Fahrenheit or more.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Weekend support as needed and required.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, related field or experience in restaurants.
Minimum of 2-4 years of field marketing experience or agency experience supporting field marketing, including understanding of traditional and digital media, OOH, public relations, event marketing and brand management.
Ability to be flexible while maintaining strong project management skills and organization.
