Citigroup Resolution and Recovery Planning – Financial Forecasting: RCAP/RCEN C12 in New York, New York

Reporting to the Head of RRP Financial Forecasting, the RCAP/RCEN AVP is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. They are responsible for supporting the Head of RRP Financial Forecasting in developing of the capital balance sheet, income statements, and other financial data as well as the maintenance of forecasting capabilities for recovery and resolution scenario generation. They will work to support continuous improvement of the capability processes as they relate to capital.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter knowledge on expectations and requirements for capital capabilities

  • Assist in the development of balance sheet, income statement, and other financial data

  • Review calculations of capital ratios and monitor against capital triggers and capital positioning needs at the firm and legal entity-level

  • Provide review and challenge on forecasting assumptions, projection results, and utilization of RCAP and RCEN methodologies and frameworks to estimate capital needs

  • Perform data quality checks and data reconciliation to promote alignment with firm and regulatory requirements

  • Support maintenance of forecasting capabilities for recovery and resolution scenario generation

  • Support continuous improvement of capability processes

  • Performs duties as assigned

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or related fields

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field

  • Excellent communication skills are imperative (i.e., ability to make complex subjects easily digestible for senior management)

  • Exercised proven PowerPoint and Excel skills; experience with financial modeling, data analytics, or financial forecasting tools is a plus

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to interact with all levels of management

  • Strong work-ethic, innovative and adaptable with positive attitude and willingness / ability to pick up work quickly when and where needed

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$109,120.00 - $163,680.00
