Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP Firmwide Attorney Recruiting Coordinator in New York, New York

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire a Firmwide Attorney Recruiting Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Attorney Recruiting, the coordinator will be responsible for providing analytical and administrative support, as well as project management coordination, to the Attorney Recruiting Department. The Coordinator will assist the senior leadership in the overall planning and coordination of the firm's summer associate program, law student recruitment programs, fall associate arrival, all recruiting statistics and reporting, and various special projects, including lateral recruiting.

This position can reside in any of the following offices: Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, or Washington, DC, with a preference for the west coast, and will have a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.

Responsibilities

Assists in the planning, execution and overall strategy of law student recruitment programs, including on-campus interviews, law school outreach events, and targeted recruitment strategy at select schools.

Creates and implements firm marketing and communication materials and drives local office execution of same.

Coordinates all aspects of the firmwide summer associate program, including all recruiter communication, local office orientation, and assisting with the preparation of the firm's annual Professional Recruiting Committee meeting and Summer Kickoff Program.

Coordinates fall associate onboarding and orientation, including joining in the preparation of the firm's New Lawyer Academy, working across departments, including our Professional Development team.

Oversee all recruitment statistics and reporting, including managing annual AAP report, NALP form, and assisting with external surveys including, Chambers, Vault, and The American Lawyer.

Maintain all statistics in ViRecruit while creating firmwide data reports and Powerpoint presentations for various large recruitment meetings throughout the year.

Perform various projects for Senior Director of Associate Talent, Firmwide Hiring Partner, and other senior members of the Associate Talent team including conducting market research as it pertains to policies and processes.

Collaborate with Human Resources on all aspects of Workday relating to the firm's recruitment, onboarding, and integration function.

Manage the Attorney Recruiting intranet site, internal recruitment team site, and iManage Document Management System.

Experience/Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.

Minimum of 3+ years of relative recruiting or Human Resources experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The successful applicant will also have excellent organizational skills; effective written and oral communication skills; the ability to take initiative and contribute new ideas; the ability to interact effectively with all levels of firm management and staff; the capability to exercise sound judgment and work well under pressure; the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities; and the ability to deal with confidential information.

Proficiency with ViRecruit, Symplicity, Workday, iManage Document Management System, SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as the ability to implement new software programs.

This position may require occasional travel to law schools and other Morgan Lewis offices, while also having the flexibility to work overtime, specifically evenings and weekends from May through October.
