Kforce Flex PLM Administrator in New York, New York

Kforce has a client in search of a Flex PLM Administrator in New York, NY.Summary:This Individual Contributor level position is responsible for FlexPLM design operations. The candidate will be responsible for updating & communicating changes of the initial technical packages as requested. This person demonstrates a passion for the brand and relies on experience to plan and accomplish goals. They will work under close supervision/direction and handles issues of fairly basic complexity. The Admin reports to Project Manager, Design Operations (Systems/Operations). There are no direct repots.Responsibilities:

  • Input FlexPLM data, entering quality information to ensure data integrity and providing timely issue resolution

  • Execute and communicate changes to FlexPLM as requested by the Merchants

  • Work closely with designers to create seasonal assortment in FlexPLM

  • Work closely with designers to create/manage seasonal product attributes

  • Provide front line support for business PLM issues and questions

  • Create & maintain Flex PLM Print/Color palette for each season

  • Create & maintain Flex PLM Material Trim palette for each season

  • Create seasonal prints & specialty colorways within palettes

  • Create color/raw material relationship for seasonal prints

  • Create seasonal vendor sourced materials

  • Understand Design processes in order to support team deliverables, manage priorities and meet the calendar needs of the business

  • Recommend and administer process improvements to increase efficiency and speed/agility

  • Support new business initiatives, applying transition management techniques to realize change in support of business direction

  • Liaise between Design and Cross-Functional teams

  • Expert in PLM functional application knowledge

  • Troubleshoot Merchant, Design & Product Development questions regarding FlexPLM, product and color

  • Troubleshoot Colorways and product

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 2-4 years of Operations experience in retail or related field

  • Highly motivated and results oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Detailed and task oriented

  • Ability to resolve conflicts independently

  • Customer service philosophy

  • Collaborative partner with a team-oriented approach

  • Understands relational database design and object oriented concepts

  • Able to create credibility by consistently delivering on commitments

  • Passion for Design and Product Lifecycle/Development process

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Flex PLM a plus
