THE VENUE
Legends Hospitality is proud to Partner with Circle Line Cruises, New York’s oldest provider of chartered sightseeing cruises, in delivering a premium hospitality experience to guests. In addition to daily cruises on six sailing vessels throughout the city, Circle Line hosts various special events cruises, including a New Year’s Eve and Fourth of July celebration and charters for private parties and events.
THE ROLE
The Food & Beverage Manager reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for supporting all Food, Beverage & Merchandise operations. Specific areas of oversight include coordinating F&B orders, executing events, training new associates, and adhering to safety and quality standards and the ability to perform all job duties in our concessions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for all opening and closing procedures of the venue and POS reporting
Ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory management, and cash handling procedures
Responsible for coordinating event details and executing all group food orders and events
Responsible for ordering product and maintaining accurate inventory levels for all locations
Enforce consistent high quality of food preparation and service in accordance with DOH standards
Implement effective communication with the client and all employees
Assist in the development of programs that result in increased customer satisfaction
Assist in hiring and training new employees
Conduct physical audits of inventory and product, research and perform reconciliations
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of food and beverage experience in a high-volume setting.
Detail-oriented and extremely organized with the ability to multi-task and delegate duties when necessary
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
Experience working in high-volume food service venues (e.g., high-end restaurant, catering venue, sports and entertainment setting, or hotel) with experience overseeing the sale of alcohol preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to lead and motivate teams and promote an inclusive work environment
Ability to troubleshoot situations as they arise and provide satisfactory resolutions
Knowledge and effective operations of retail POS including procedures and policies
Ability to perform under pressure effectively for extensive periods of time while maintaining professionalism
Must be available to work extended hours such as nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and additional job specific safety training
Must have or obtain NYC Food Protection Certificate

Compensation:
$60,000 - $65,000
Full-Time, exempt
