Meta Global Sales Operations - NA Distribution Manager in New York, New York

Summary:

Meta Reality Labs (RL) is seeking a strategic, data-driven, detail oriented lead with experience managing a Distribution Channel from E2E, process creation, and program management helping the organization build strategies to scale, improve operational efficiency, increase sales productivity, and drive growth for our RL Sales Channels.This position will be at the core of the region's distribution management, overseeing day-to-day operations functions, providing a best-in-class internal/external partner experience, and delivering against key success metrics within the organization.The ideal candidate should be passionate about Meta’s mission and the power of augmented/virtual reality in making a positive impact on the world, has experience in operations, highly analytic, an excellent problem solver, strong communication skills and experience managing cross-functional work streams, an eagerness to work in a rapidly evolving space, and thrives under pressure and ambiguity. Required Skills:

Global Sales Operations - NA Distribution Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic distribution partners to ensure effective collaboration and successful product delivery.

  2. Negotiate and manage commercial agreements with distribution partners, including pricing, volume commitments, and other key terms.

  3. Work closely with internal teams to ensure that distribution partners are effectively representing Meta's products and brand.

  4. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and make recommendations for new business opportunities or partnerships.

  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products.

  6. Manage and forecast inventory levels to ensure adequate supply to meet demand.

  7. Identify and mitigate risks associated with distribution partnerships, including supply chain disruptions and contractual disputes.

  8. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth

  9. Build relationships and influence across a diverse set of teams, including Sales Channel/Account Leaders, Channel Operations, Analytics, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Communications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience in distribution management, operations, program management, sales or equivalent work experience.

  2. Experience putting together business use cases and presentations.

  3. Experience operating independently and executing on both the strategic and operational level in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.

  4. Experience in building new processes and tools and delivering process optimization / improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams.

  5. Experience with identifying gaps and opportunities, developing solutions, and providing sound business insights and recommendations through influencing.

  1. Experience in the multi-channel sales space for consumer hardware/software.

  2. Proven stakeholder management experience, including managing multiple internal/external partners simultaneously.

  3. Experience in managing highly complex negotiations, with multiple stakeholder organizations, and significant scale.

  4. Experience in navigating complex organizations, balancing multiple competing priorities. Ensuring strategy and hands on work are equally balanced on a day to day operating model

  5. Experience managing people and teams.

Public Compensation:

$116,000/year to $166,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
