Positioned at the top of One World Trade Center, the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, on levels 100, 101, and 102 – One World Observatory provides guests with unique, panoramic views of New York City, its most iconic sites, and surrounding waters from 1,250 feet. A customized guest experience complements the seemingly endless views - which evoke feelings of the City’s signature pride, hope and determination - including special interactive experiences and dining options, plus a sit-down restaurant.

The Group Sales Intern will be responsible for assisting the Group Sales Associates generate revenue from group sales through various outreach channels including their existing network of contacts, cold calling and incoming leads.
- Provide superior customer service to clients and prospects• Generate sales leads through phone and email outreach• Generate leads through previous customer network if applicable• Complete the booking process from reservation, to invoicing, payment and ticket fulfillment• Respond in a timely manner to calls, inquiries and emails• Maintain comprehensive records and accounting• Develop client relationships to ensure long-term patronage• Manage client-related issues in a calm, professional manner• Up-sell added-value products• Attend networking events and trade shows as needed• Non-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays as necessary)

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to work fluently in English
Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions
Ability to work all Venue events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, team orientated setting
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds up and down stairs/ramps
Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
