Amazon Corporate LLC GTM Business Development, Database Migration Accelerator (DMA) in New York, New York
Would you like to be part of a team focused on migrating customers commercial database and analytics workloads to AWS database services? In this role, you will work directly with AWS account teams, Specialist Sellers and customers across AWS Enterprise, Global and Strategic accounts by leveraging your deep technology database selling experience, enthusiasm for database technology and results-oriented focus to help AWS customers migrate off of commercial databases to AWS purpose built offerings.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned, enterprise technology sales representative with a passion for customer growth and experience with migration and database selling. The successful candidate will own a demonstrated track record of selling success, technical acumen as well as a team-player mentality. The successful candidate will have experience driving executive, C-level customer engagement, as well as a technical understanding that enables them to easily interact with developers and technical architects. He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical opportunities, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to build consensus.
Key job responsibilities
Driving revenue from both DMA Fixed Fee Migration Services and Migration Advisory Services in a defined territory or industry vertical as part of the AWS Database Services Organization.
Developing executive relationships with AWS customers and create strategic value by introducing and evangelizing AWS database services.
Advancing qualified sales opportunities for enterprise application workloads and data center migration projects. These opportunities will include migrating SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra and additional databases to the AWS cloud.
Aligning on territory and account strategy with AWS enterprise, ISV, and other ARR qualifying account teams.
Providing feedback to AWS business development, solution architect, marketing, and product teams on what is working and not working to help customers grow their business on AWS database services.

About the team
The Amazon Database Migration Accelerator (DMA) Team is made up of Technical Migration Experts, Database Engineers, Solution Architects, Project Managers and Business Professionals that focus on helping customer migrate workloads from Oracle and SQL to AWS Purpose Built Databases. DMA does the refactoring of the database and applications to opensource. Our team of experts works out of the US and Poland where we focus on accelerating migrations to AWS with experts who specialized in Enterprise Database Migrations to Opensource offerings like PostgreSQL.
7+ years of technology related sales or cloud based business development experience.
Direct field experience working with enterprise, global, large customer and ISV customers.
Experience creating a strategic Go To Market account plan.
3+ years of experience selling database/analytics products in the cloud.
Demonstrated ability to create and develop executive customer relationships and close large deals.
Previous experience selling cloud services
