About this opportunity ....

The HR Generalist provides principal support to HR Director levels in driving and executing the business' talent initiatives by partnering with aligned HRBPs to project manage and execute talent practices and other key initiatives. The position reports to the Vice President, Associate Relations. Responsibilities include advising their client group, creating business ready materials and reports, providing analytics and insights and ensuring accurate data in systems, in addition to compliance management, onboarding and offboarding coordination.


  • Provides exemplary client service by learning business needs and calendar for regular HR priorities and delivering solutions for the needs of HRBPs and clients throughout HR processes
  • Grows knowledge and skills to be a subject matter expert on HR's tools, processes, and team interdependencies across all areas of the HR (Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Workforce Planning, Diversity Equality & Inclusion, Compensation)
  • Acts as a liaison between HR Operations and their business partners for compliance related activities and follow up
  • Ensures accurate and updated data is provided to the HR Operations, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning teams
  • Conducts 90-day touch bases for new hires Managers and below after delivery of 90-day review
  • Serves as point of contact as assigned in problem solving talent issues; provides generalist support and advisory services
  • Creates communication plans and timelines for organizational changes
  • Manages ServiceNow cases in management system; work with team to maintain records relating to corrective actions, investigation
  • Creates reports, analyzes and presents relevant metrics and insights to drive decision making as requested
  • Ensures new hire, termination and position change information has been communicated to COEs and HR Operations per SOP
  • Prepares for Alignment meetings, including updating of tools (time in role and master tracker, etc.)
  • Partners with Talent Development team to coordinate Associates for mentoring, buddying, promotions/transitions to new role on-boarding needs and other tasks/project work as assigned

Who you are ...

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of HR or related experience
  • You have a BS/BA degree
  • You are proficient at an intermediate level in Windows Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • You have strong oral and written communication skills
  • You can exercise independent judgement and problem-solving skills
  • You can work well under the pressure of deadlines
  • You can work independently

This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
