JOB TITLE: Human Resources Intern or Co-op - Summer 2024
RESPONSIBILITIES: -Support the local Human Resources team through daily tasks and special projects -Assist in orientation and onboarding of new hires including conducting new hire orientation and welcome calls -Collaborate with the HR Manager and HR Generalist to provide recruiting support consistent with business and office needs. Schedule phone, video, and on-site interviews. Conduct reference checks -Interact with employees and management communicating Human Resource policies, programs, procedures, and government regulations;
QUALIFICATIONS: -Actively pursuing Bachelor's or Masters' Degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Industrial -Organizational Psychology, or coursework relating to HR -Prior work experience in an office environment -Strong interest in full life cycle recruitment process -High caliber of self-motivation -Superior interpersonal skills and positive demeanor
