What we do:
This associate position is in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, which resides within the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s Technology Group’s Information Security function. Information Security New York (ISNY) is responsible for providing services that ensure the adequate protection of the Bank’s information assets. In addition to identity and access management, ISNY provides other key security services such as vulnerability management, cyber risk assessments, cyber policy and awareness, incident response, and insider threat mitigation.
Your role as IAM Lifecycle Support Associate:
The position’s primary responsibility is to support access management operational activities for critical financial systems. This support includes user onboarding, transfer, offboarding, certifications and other established operational processes. Provisioning access, access removal, recertification and audit preparation will constitute the majority of the daily tasks, but we are always looking to improve and automate when possible. The associate will also work closely with the business areas on defining and maintaining access for their systems and work across ISNY to ensure execution of those operational processes.
What we are looking for:
This is a security associate position responsible for operation and support of access management provisioning across multiple business units. The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented with strong data management skills and knowledge of access control.
Identity and Access Management operational experience in supporting mission critical operational systems and processes
Technical understanding of authentication and authorization within various application stacks (Active Directory, Database, Cloud, Collaboration)
Proven experience executing operational activities to comply with IAM standard controls and processes
Independent management of access certifications including defining certification scope, schedule and execution
Advanced data management skills (e.g. SharePoint, Access or other DB, Advanced Excel, Tableau, JavaScript)
Working knowledge of SailPoint IIQ or other access control software to support day to day provisioning and reporting needs of the organization
Ability to quickly recognize operational risks and mitigate them
Solid understanding of integrating identity and access management provisioning with other security disciplines such as risk assessment and vulnerability management
Driven to continuously improve and evolve IAM processes to achieve targeted Banks’ maturity levels
Ability to learn new operational tasks quickly to support varies customers
Strong information security experience preferred or other related experience
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience
CISSP, technical, PMI (Agile) or other related certifications preferred
This position requires possession of or the ability to obtain and maintain national security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
Salary Range: $129600 - $162000 / year
