Position: Information Technology Co-Op (Service Desk & GRC)

Location: KIND HQ2

What you’ll do

The IT Co-Op will get exposure to multiple facets of technology, including infrastructure and information security. The position requires extraordinary attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to juggle many demanding tasks. Main responsibilities include:

  • Assist in developing IT Security Training courses and information for end users, as part of the overall Security Awareness Program

  • Analyze and develop metric reports to identity trends or areas of concerns in IT security tools and work on remediation plans.

  • Update and publish IT Security Policies, SOPs and Guides

  • Monitor ticketing system, as first point of contact, to ensure:

  • Correct routing/assignment of all requests/issues.

  • Adherence to SLA’s.

  • Proper, timely escalation, as required.

  • Provide Helpdesk, Deskside, and remote support to HQ & remote users

  • Assist on Mobile Device Management (MDM) Migration Project

  • Assist on Targeted Hardware Refresh Project

  • Diagnose and resolve issues with Microsoft Windows, MS O365 and SharePoint

  • Research issues & questions then advise users on appropriate actions

  • Adhere to IT access-management and change control procedures

Required Experience:

  • Passion for Technology and must be comfortable working with a technical team

  • Exceptional academic record and Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office suite

  • Knowledge of Macs, iOS and Android

  • Ability to script and automate tasks

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Ability to learn new technologies

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize

You have…

  • Declared your major and it’s in a similar area of interest to the internship.

  • Knowledgeable in networking, cloud, physical, and infrastructure terminology and general concepts.

  • Understanding of IT security related subjects, such as SoD, risk, compliance and governance, security principles, techniques, and protocols.
