The successful candidate will assist with identifying learning needs and take the lead to design, develop and test, e-learning and associated instructional and associated instructional materials. You develop learning solutions to support new initiatives and systems. You create and maintain a curriculum that develops proficiency through engaging interactive e-learning. The instructional designer has deep instructional design and e-learning experience to develop digital innovative learning solutions to address business training needs. The candidate is primarily responsible for creating a comprehensive problem-based learning approach which includes a blended course, including video and other digital and multimedia content that meet the business needs of the firm.
Work to develop state of the art training for our internal and remote staff
Use Captivate by Adobe to develop the training
Works with subject matter experts and uses source materials to develop instructional content and identify appropriate instructional methods.
Develops e-learning modules using text, graphics, animation, video, audio, and simulation elements.
Sets up and conducts pilot testing to identify needed revisions to instructional materials.
Develop and manage digital solutions for learning & development for Audit, Tax, and Advisory Businesses
Using instructional design principles and techniques, develop storyboards and scripts for digital learning solutions
Design and develop SCORM-compliant digital learning solutions
Demonstrate expertise in using authoring tools such as Articulate, Rise, GOMO to create sophisticated adaptive learning content
Ability to provide instructional, curriculum, and technical design consulting services to subject matter experts
Experience using animation and video editing software, as well as multimedia development will be an added advantage
Ability to work collaboratively with other L&D members
Leverage instructional design and multi-media skills to conceptualize, design, develop and deliver training modules and training courses
Ability to create a competency-based curriculum with learning paths
Understanding of National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) Continuing Professional Education (CPE) compliance rules for on-site (instructor-led) training, eLearning self-studies, webcasts, rules applicable to their Quality Assurance Standards (QAS).
Bachelor?s degree; Masters in Instructional Design, Corporate Training, Human Resource Development or other related field preferred
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
Experience creating instructional materials in all delivery formats is a must; samples of project work will be required
Experience using Captivate by Adobe
Experience with LMS (Learning Management Systems) Travitor preferred
Exposure to Accounting or Finance preferred
Strong analytical, interviewing, research, organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Graphic design and layout skills
Ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to manage multiple engagements, prioritize and meet strict deadlines
