Citigroup Insurance Finance Sr. Analyst in New York, New York
The Insurance Finance Sr. Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth multi-disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for new product development and management of existing products. Integrates subject matter and project management expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business across geographies. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills to screen, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication, presentation skills and diplomacy are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
Responsibilities:
Manage projects for development of new Insurance financing products and coordinate with regional teams
Assist in management of existing products and coordinate and prepare various management reports required for product management and periodic portfolio review
Ensure that all product program requirements are being adhered
Recommend and implement process improvement including system enhancement
Lead process improvement initiatives and play an important part in development of new products.
Understand end to end process flow for Insurance Premium Financing and constantly drive change to improve processing time / time to market
Assist with gather market intelligence and acquiring information about comparable products
Provide product sales support to private banker teams within your coverage area
Assist with product integration initiatives
Qualifications:
Strong marketing and sales skills
Good negotiation skills
Strong and proven analytical, financial structuring and execution skills
Over 7 years’ banking experience, having managed products, client interactions and operations,
Good knowledge of financial markets and loan products
Excellent excel and power point skills and ability to work with large databases
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
Strong initiative and interactive approach to problem solving
Displays flexibility and independence in a demanding environment
Team player
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
