We are seeking a seasoned Integrated Change and Technology Project Manager with robust project management skills to spearhead the successful implementation and adoption of critical, complex, and impactful technology initiatives. The Technology Project Manager will offer leadership and transparency throughout all phases of the program/project lifecycle, including planning, design, development, and deployment. The role involves ensuring that project scope, schedule, quality, and benefits are adequately defined and delivered. The successful candidate will not only possess exceptional project management skills but also outstanding interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities.

What Will You Be Doing?

As an Integrated Change and Technology Project Manager within the Tax practice, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning, driving, and communicating the execution of technology initiatives in collaboration with internal and cross-functional teams.
  • Managing projects end-to-end, from concept, project planning, development, execution, monitoring, to closure, ensuring effective communication and adoption strategies are in place.
  • Ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Using appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs, and communicating these changes effectively to all relevant parties.
  • Leveraging subject matter expertise in driving conversations and/or influencing decisions/direction with Business, Technology, and functional partners.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties and vendors, coordinating internal resources for the flawless execution of projects, and ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Identifying priorities and managing multiple workstreams, coordinating activities across departments ensuring deliverables are tracked in line with due dates.
  • Identifying creative and timely solutions to key challenges while motivating the project teams to complete critical tasks, and ensuring these solutions are communicated and adopted effectively.
  • Tracking project progress and reporting effectively on status, risks, blockers, and changes, ensuring clear and consistent communication to all stakeholders.
  • Accountable for creating, maintaining, and communicating schedules, status, issues, and risks. Creates materials and presents at Steering Committees as applicable.
  • Tracking resourcing of projects and driving resource balancing between different program priorities.
  • Managing, analyzing, tracking, and escalating project risks, issues, and dependencies, chairing regular review meetings, and ensuring clear communication of outcomes and actions.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a related area
  • 5-7 years of direct experience as a project manager, experience in a professional services firm preferred
  • Project management certification e.g. PMP, CAPM
  • Experience working in a PMO with adaptability to A& M Taxs PMO processes
  • Execution-focused with the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong partnership record and ability to build business relationships throughout the organization to foster respect and teamwork with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to act independently, demonstrate leadership, and take initiative but work equally well within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
  • Adaptability within a changing environment and self-motivation to achieve targets and deliverables.
  • Intellectual curiosity, pro-activity, and comfort challenging the status quo; not afraid to ask questions and make proposals to solve problems.
  • Proficiency in creating reports, analyses, or scorecards for the management team and strong verbal and written presentation skills.

The salary range is $ 125, 000 - $165, 000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A& M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
