What you’ll do

The Integrated Communications Coordinator supports KIND’s Integrated Communications efforts. You will have a strong interest in communications, as well as a passion for the food and health & wellness industries. You’ll bring a strong attention to detail, comfort working in a team setting, creativity, and the ability to work in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. And this is how you’ll do it…


  • Develop and maintain relationships with key members of the media, both locally and nationally

  • Harness media relationships to secure coverage that brings the KIND brand and product narrative to life

  • Develop new story angles to ensure a steady stream of coverage

  • Update and maintain media lists and press contact information

  • Assist in developing press releases, fact sheets, product backgrounders, briefing documents and talking points

  • Support larger IC campaigns in multiple ways, including talking to the press to handling logistics to planning

Influencer & Digital Support

  • Leverage influencer relationships to generate coverage

  • Ideate organic social concepts for KIND editorial calendar

Research, Reporting & Administrative

  • Support team by tracking media and social media coverage

  • Familiarity with Cision and SimilarWeb

  • Manage development of bi-weekly results reports

  • Monitor industry news and update team members of relevant competitor or category insights

  • Provide administrative support for projects and day-to-day team needs

  • Manage subscriptions, order department office supplies and additional administrative responsibilities

Required Experience:

You have…

  • 1-2 years working in a fast-paced environment in a marketing, digital or PR function

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or similar

  • Ability to manage heavy workloads and rapidly shift priorities based on the organizational needs

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, creative personality, and proven experience of working in a team

  • A genuine desire to help make the world a kinder place, committing to always spreading and celebrating kindness
