Job Summary / Basic Function:

Do you love TC? Our student phonathon program might be for you! Student ambassadors will call TC alumni to raise money for the TC Fund, financial aid, and our academic departments. We provide the training; you bring the enthusiasm! Must be confident on the phone. Multiple evening shifts will be available during the summer.

Student phonathon offers a great opportunity to network with fellow students and staff, share your love for TC, while enhancing your professional resume. Additionally, phonathon callers will be compensated for their time and dedication.


  • Arrive on time, prepared and enthusiastic to call and to speak with TC alumni.

  • Build a comfortable rapport with alumni that will encourage a philanthropic spirit with them. Share your personal experience, why you chose TC, and why you feel their support is so important

  • Be a good listener to the needs and concerns of our alumni. Express appreciation and respect for whatever thoughts they share.

  • Handle with the utmost confidentiality all personal information our alumni provide.

  • Give courteous professional feedback to alumni, always with the objective of steering them towardsmaking a gift.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current TC Student

  • Be available for 3 to 5 calling nights in June & July. Generally, shifts will be from 6-9pm.

  • Record new information accurately.

  • Have a positive, cheerful and outgoing personality.


  • $25 per hour (3 hour calling per night)

  • Pizza and refreshments provided

  • Build your resume, fundraising and marketing skills

  • Network with fellow students and TC staff
