What You Will Do :

The Guidehouse Internship Program staffs interns on real world projects, showcases the Guidehouse culture, and provides interns with a meaningful consulting experience. Interns work with teams and provide real-time deliverables in support of Guidehouse clients. Each intern is paired with a Buddy to serve as a resource that can assist them in navigating their Guidehouse experience.

Highlights of the Guidehouse Internship Program include:

• 10-week experience in the Summer of 2023 (Anticipated to start Monday, June 5th and run until Friday, August 11th)

• Learning & Development Sessions (both E-learning & Instructor-Led)

• Performance management, including developing goals and holding Mid-Point and Final Evaluations

• Networking & Social Activities and Events

• Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Intern Event

• Intern Speaker Series

• Collaborative Group Projects

Guidehouse provides comprehensive and customer-centric solutions for clean energy programs including energy efficiency, demand response, electrification, energy storage, renewable energy, and sustainability programs. We help our clients visualize and identify market opportunities for clean energy programs and then work with them to build and strengthen those programs.

Guidehouse’s Mobility Solutions Team leverages the Energy, Sustainability and Infrastructure segment’s industry-leading syndicated research, extensive industry experience, and consulting expertise to develop solutions that support our clients in navigating the evolving transition to a clean, sustainable transportation and mobility future. We support market actors across the ecosystem, including utilities and energy providers, federal government, state and local governments, commercial entities, automakers, equipment manufacturers, and service providers in developing next-generation transportation products and services.

As a Guidehouse intern, you will work in a team to create and present client deliverables that support essential project workstreams. You will gather and analyze data, identify gaps and trends, and make recommendations related to baseline performance and structure, as well as established best practices and benchmarks.

Key responsibilities for this position may include:

• Fact-finding, research, and analysis on energy-related activities

• Preparing and presenting analysis, reports, and other documents for internal and/or external client use

• Strategic corporate and regulatory planning activities, including stakeholder engagement

• Developing technology strategies for utilities, government, and commercial companies

• Cost-effectiveness analysis of transportation options in context of utility regulations and requirements

• Communicating solutions and new strategies to clients and stakeholders

What You Will Need :

• Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years

• Minimum Degree Status Required: Graduating with an undergraduate or advanced degree between Winter 2023 and Summer 2024

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the country

• No sponsorship is available for this position

What Would Be Nice To Have :

• Degree/Majors Preferred: Engineering, Economics, Business, Finance, Public Policy, or related to transportation, environment or sustainability

• Desire for background in/familiarity with/experience with transportation and/or transportation electrification

• Experience working in teams to produce high-impact work products, reports, and other deliverables in a fast-paced environment

• Possesses strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• An inquisitive nature and desire for continuous improvement

The annual salary range for this position is $39,100.00-$70,400.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
