Join the 2021 FIS University Summer Internship Program!

As a 2021 FIS University Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, social events, professional development seminars, and work alongside team mentors. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 7, 2021, and conclude on August 13, 2021.

About The Team

The FIS Public Cloud Operations team at FIS provides support for cloud-deployed environments within Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and Google Cloud. FIS's burgeoning maturity in the cloud space will drive a shorter time to market solutions, which in turn will meet customer expectations around services provided by FIS throughout the world. We are looking for a talented resource who is comfortable working multiple appropriately prioritized issues and/or projects at a time. One who desires to be a part of this global dynamic operations team will grow personally, technically, and professionally.

What You Will Be Doing

You will develop innovative financial solutions that provide continuous improvement and modernization of company products.

Works on designing solutions, writing code, testing code, automating test and deployment.

Adopts and masters multiple programming languages and technologies, as required.

Manages individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Collaborates effectively with other team members.

Delivers software components by working in collaboration with product and design teams.

Collaborates with other technology teams to ensure integrated end-to-end design and integration.

Follows existing process guidelines; drives new processes, procedures, team rules, and best practices.

Participates in the Agile Scrum process by providing feedback and other relevant collaborative efforts.

What You Bring

Rising Senior (graduating December 2021 through May 2022)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Self-motivated and willingness to learn

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Added Bonus if you Bring

Any skills related to Cloud, Azure primary, AWS and Google

Knowledge of Automation Tools, Terraform, Ansible, Bitbucket, Artifactory, GitHub and Powershell is a plus
