Legends manages all operations across ticketing, special events, sponsorship food and beverage and retail for Attractions partners.


Positioned at the top of One World Trade Center, the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, on levels 100, 101, and 102 – One World Observatory provides guests with unique, panoramic views of New York City, its most iconic sites, and surrounding waters from 1,250 feet. A customized guest experience complements the seemingly endless views - which evoke feelings of the City’s signature pride, hope and determination - including special interactive experiences and dining options, plus a sit-down restaurant.

The successful candidate will be customer service-focused, flexible, and able to work independently supporting at any Legends Hospitality location. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, proven ability to organize, manage, and complete multiple tasks efficiently in a timeframe, and verbal and written communication skills while working with internal and external stakeholders are non-negotiables. The role reports to the Director, IT Operations.


  • Ensure pre-opening walk-throughs are completed to ensure all systems are operational prior daily opening of the operation

  • Provide technical support for applications including Ticketing and POS hardware/software

  • Work with third party system providers, diagnose issues and ensure they are addressed

  • Provide troubleshooting for basic infrastructure problems, escalating to external providers as necessary

  • Oversee software maintenance of applications

  • Maintain a high level of system support to end-users at all times

  • Ensure replacement of defective POS and related hardware

  • Ensure inventory of all POS hardware and network devices is maintained and ensure broken equipment is repaired and replaced

  • Ensure Legends' IT infrastructure is implemented and maintained in line with company standards

  • Ensure all technical support issues are logged in Legends' ticketing system

  • Work with outside partners on implementation, maintenance and support of desktop, network and server infrastructure components

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and adhere to all organizational technology standards

  • Responsible for communicating and promoting IT standards and ensure they are followed in their facility

  • Assist with the setup for special events

  • Ensure good systems documentation is maintained


To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty, outlined above, at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of IT focused experience

  • 3+ years of application support experience in an environment with more than 200 users

  • BS/BA with relevant work experience preferred

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of supporting PC and/or POS system hardware

  • Good understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting including TCP/IP, VLAN's, wireless LANs

  • Performance driven, with outstanding interpersonal skills and a strong working knowledge of the technical requirements outlined above

  • Ability to motivate a team to work together in a most efficient manner

  • Eagerness to work in a rapidly changing, diverse environment and a willingness to accept ownership and responsibility of the IT infrastructure to ensure its 24/7 availability

  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds

  • Flexibility to be work weekends and to work before, during and after all events (including late nights and weekends)


$22 - $30/hour + a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401(k) plan.
