About the Position
Grace Church School seeks to hire a full-time interim physical education teacher to support students in grades JK-8. The position would start in August 2024.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (Preferred: Masters Degree)
Physical Education teaching experience
Strong classroom management skills
Seeks to join a collaborative work environment
Proficiency with Microsoft (Docs, Sheets)
Excellent grammar, organizational, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Lead Pre-k through 8th grade Physical Education Teacher
Assistant Teacher Early Childhood, Lower School, and Middle School Physical Education
Lunch, Recess, and other supervisory duties
Coaching multiple seasons within the 5-12 athletics program
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time faculty position, and the expected salary will be based on the faculty salary scale, ranging from $68,000–$155,040, commensurate with education, experience, and total workload. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life/disability, flexible spending accounts, generous 403(b) contributions with immediate vesting and access to $3100 in professional development funds per year, beginning in your second year of employment.
Compensation for coaching is paid separately according to an hourly stipend rate.
