J.P. Morgan Wealth Management recently announced a renewed investment and focus on its High Net Worth Wealth Management business, with the aim of doubling our advisors in the coming years. In support of this exciting mission, we are seeking a seasoned, strategic, results driven marketing leader to define, implement, and drive the Field Marketing playbook for the business. This transformative leader will have a proven track record of developing and implementing field and advisor marketing strategies, programs and tools that fuel brand awareness and help advisors achieve their individual business goals.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing for J.P. Morgan Advisors (our High Net Worth segment), this is an exciting opportunity for a Wealth Management Marketing leader to help re-define, shape and grow our field marketing practice for the future.
In this role, you will both serve as a strategic consultant and marketing voice to our advisors, as well as lead the development of scalable and customizable tools, resources and marketing programs - all in service of helping to drive awareness and acquisition for our advisors.
As such, active collaboration, the ability to foster strong relationships at many levels (Executive/Field Leadership, advisors, marketing partners, etc) and the ability to influence action across teams and functions will be critical to success.
Additionally, given that this role is ultimately responsible for building and executing the field marketing playbook, the ideal candidate must have the ability to think both strategically as well as go deep to help the team work through challenges and obstacles as they arise while navigating a large and complex firm. The ability bring structure and clarity to ambiguous situations will be pivotal to success.
Define the vision, set the strategy and drive the implementation of the Advisor and Field Marketing playbook/practice for our HNW/UHNW segment
Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for advisors to consult on how marketing can help their practice through tailored marketing and branding strategies
Drive innovation through the development of scalable and customizable advisor programs, collateral and campaigns that help to fuel advisor brand awareness and client acquisition
Partner with analytics to develop a segmentation and measurement approach to help prove the ROI of our field marketing efforts
Enhance and develop new customizable advisor tools and resources
Partner with events team to provide strategic guidance and support
Oversee advisor accolades promotional efforts and sponsorship support
Lead the initial onboarding/setup of advisors from a marketing perspective and ongoing maintenance of each advisor's core collateral and web presence
Own marketing's participation in FA recruiting efforts and training programs
12+ years of relevant marketing experience
Strong knowledge of High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth wealth segments as well as key client solutions and themes (estate planning, pre-liquidity, etc)
Ability to nurture and develop high impact teams
High energy with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and to perform under pressure within tight deadlines
Adept at developing comprehensive strategic solutions-inclusive of strategic and competitive context, establishing an end-to-end vision, and identifying potential risks.
Ability to prioritize and quickly execute in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to effectively partner with internal teams. Known for being a great collaborative partner, strong leader and influencer.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to establish and communicate the strategic vision and complex ideas to all levels
Strong understanding of field marketing technologies and tools
Ability to work with senior executives and represent the Field Marketing practice at all levels
Bachelor's Degree, Master's preferred
Series 7 and 24 licenses are preferred
