Position Overview

The Plan & Track Experience team is seeking a highly effective and innovative Product Analyst (Associate) to lead the rapidly growing product development of end-to-end capabilities within the Digital organization and transform the way our customers do business. They will be responsible for the firm's capabilities including personalized tools and insights that empower and motivate customers to understand their money, plan life goals, and take action. The Product Analyst will support senior members of the product team on the evolution of the product with a high senior leadership support and visibility.

The ideal candidate has experience delivering personal financial management features and experiences for mobile and web. It will also be important for the candidate to understand enterprise finance business models, tracking roadmap delivery and strategic execution is a critical component of the role.

The Product Analyst will support and partner across the lines of businesses to execute on an ever-evolving roadmap to drive business objectives forward as well as keep Chase on the leading edge of the rapidly changing technology landscape. They will engage with cross functional teams of core engineering, design and business partners from across the firm to deliver robust feature sets to market.

The Product Analyst will be outcome-focused with a practical orientation to developing and maintaining an innovation lifecycle product roadmap, agile mindset, and have a style that fosters teamwork and collaboration. Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding analytical and research skills, as well as a passion for digital channels. In addition to being a seasoned, well trained professional, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with technology and internal stakeholders.


  • Relentlessly pursue a customer first mentality by focusing on the needs of our end users and how Product can help solve their biggest problems

  • Collaborate with design, engineering, research and marketing teams to drive new product initiatives

  • Work closely with senior members of the product team on the evolution of the product roadmap; perform competitor analysis, analyze KPIs, and act as a voice of the consumer to support prioritization of new product features and feature enhancements

  • Conduct requirements elicitation workshops to translate product strategy into world-class user stories

  • Effectively identify use cases and document exhaustive acceptance criteria to support development, and QA/UAT testing

  • Partner with engineering to understand existing data architecture and assess feasibility of requirements

  • Maintain a backlog of user stories, and support user story refinement and sprint prioritization exercises

  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) across the product; help to identify, document, and prioritize defects


  • 3-5 years of experience in financial services, preferably with experience in personal financial management, financial planning, digital banking, or a closely related business managing strategic or transformational change

  • Demonstrable experience authoring business requirements, defining user stories and execution including bringing together cross functional teams within an Agile development framework

  • Prior experience in a business analyst or product analyst role

  • Superior written and verbal communications skills

  • Demonstratable ability to identify and articulate use cases and acceptance criteria

  • Self-starter with the ability to learn in a fast paced and rapidly evolving environment

  • A desire to pursue a career in Product Management

  • An understanding of Agile methodology and the Product Owner role

  • Knowledge of the wealth management industry and personal financial management is a plus
