BNY Mellon Lead Research Analyst - Biotechnology in New York, New York

Makes buy, sell, and hold recommendations.
Demonstrate seasoned and proven knowledge and judgment in the
biotechnology sector.
Conduct extensive company and industry research.
Demonstrate strong technical acumen through authoring and presenting
investment thesis and other published and distributed works.
Interview with management, suppliers, competitors, and customers from
companies being researched.
Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced Research Analysts as
needed.
Qualifications

Qualifications
Bachelors' degree or the equivalent combination of education and
experience is required, PhD preferred.
12+ years of combined educational and work experience preferred and over
10 years of investments experience preferred.
Experience in equity research, preferably in healthcare and
biotechnology.
Portfolio Management experience a plus.
Demonstrated financial acumen and financial modeling skills.
