Legal Assistant

A top Law Firm in Midtown is now hiring a Legal Secretary to help support day to day tasks. This is a contract position for the summer that can get extended until October! Experience in a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or Legal Secretary role is required.

Responsibilities:

-Assist with Legal Secretary work

-Update logs within departments/ any related documentation if needed

-Draft preliminary communication

-Review and prep paperwork before documentation

-Other duties as requested

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Proficient in MS Word, Excel

-Outlook experience

-Must be tech savvy and detail oriented

-Ability to work well with a team is required

-Must be a self-starter and a go-getter who has strong execution skills

Education:

Bachelors

Experience:

Entry Level

Qualifications:

-A completed Bachelor's Degree is preferred

-At least 1 year of experience in an office/ professional setting preferred

-1-2 years of Legal experience required
