The Manager of Insights and Analytics, Consumer Engagement will lead critical analysis and insights for consumer marketing campaign effectiveness and support the Consumer Engagement Executive Director and Director in making strategic investment plans for optimal ROI.

This position will analyze full funnel media across all channels, platforms and categories. The Manager will correlate sales data and analytics to identify growth opportunities and provide strategic spend recommendations based on consumer insights and high ROI drivers.

Alongside the Director of Consumer Engagement, this role with lead campaign wrap reports, consumer engagement-based insights and best practice sharing, and audience segmentation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analytics

  • Synchronize data from multiple sources/dashboards across all platforms; based on findings, make strategic recommendations and decisions on future investment strategy

  • Support Director in developing and presenting seasonal campaign recaps to brand leadership team and global counterparts; highlight learnings and top performing tactics, and inform recommendations for future pivots

  • Team lead for collecting and analyzing information and insights from agency partners and distribute it across multiple NOAM/Global departments with insights/recommended actions

  • Build/maintain metric standards and benchmarks in partnership with Corporate Marketing to create goals for consumer engagement campaigns across all touch points for the EL brand

  • Use competitive, planning, sales and dynamic modeling tools to help inform recommendations on campaign tactics during planning

  • Support Director in providing guidelines to Account Management on tracking analytics for co-op media

  • Partner with PR/Influencer Marketing team to calculate and track value of investment and EMV

  • Analyze data from paid non-brand (and brand) search strategy in conjunction with outside agency and eCommerce team

  • Analyze data from paid social strategy in conjunction with outside agencies and core industry partners

  • Analyze digital initiatives through eCommerce and agency partners to monitor ROI while making optimization decisions in-market with campaigns

Reporting

  • Create Monthly Snapshots for Marketing, Global Communications, Creative and senior management showcasing monthly media highlights, top social content, learnings

  • Perform competitive studies on a quarterly basis; examine what is trending across the industry, and what is working outside the industry that should be considered/adopted

  • Lead best in class brand safety and viewability standards within the marketplace and ELC companies

Strategic Measurement

  • Support Executive Director and Director in defining campaign-specific benchmarks and KPI guidelines for program launch campaigns, and year over year growth goals

  • Provide recommendation on data-driven strategies for Consumer Marketing teams to build and implement go-to market plans in order to maximize engagement and brand marketing experiences

  • Alongside Director, own branded research inputs and leverage third party data scientists to identify strategic growth opportunities within franchises and provide best practices for creative optimizations.

  • Actively participate in North America meetings with Marketing, Communications, Creative and E-commerce, and Account Management to contribute to strategic recommendations on effective go to market tactics

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with focus on digital analytics, brand finance and/or consulting

  • Strong skills in analytics, strategy and planning. Demonstrated ability to synthesize large amounts of data into meaningful conclusions

  • Financial Acumen required

  • Knowledge and understanding of Media platforms and their respective participants and how each platform is used with by consumers and other brands

  • Outstanding strategic problem solving and thought-leadership skills

  • Ability to thrive in a high paced, highly creative environment; solutions oriented and thinks out of the box when faced with new challenges

  • Proven problem-solving capabilities, offering alternatives and identifying risks / opportunities

  • Self-starter, able to set and meet own deadlines and keep managers appraised as required.

  • Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to navigate, collaborate and influence cross-functional partners. Able to explain objectives and align stakeholders on strategic goals, as well as drive accountability

  • Robust project management skills

  • Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills

  • Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines and shifting priorities
