SUMMARY
The Manager, Global Expert Advocacy and Artistry manages the ongoing evolution and expansion of La Mer Expert and Multi-Brand Associate Certification as well as La Mer Expert and Education Manager Advocacy programs globally. This role drives the development of new education tools and experiences for Certification and Advocacy programs, including managing and developing content for La Mer’s internal YouCam Channel at both the Global and Regional levels, overseeing engagement of Global and Regional Advocacy groups as well as facilitating key global Advocacy classroom experiences directly. This role actively supports the creation of new consumer-facing content as well as manages the La Mer Global uniform program, ensuring development and production of the uniform program on an ongoing basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the creation and evolution of tiered Expert and Multi-Brand Associate Certification programs, working closely with VP, Advocacy and Artistry Programming and the global Curriculum team to ensure development and distribution of the most relevant and engaging education guidelines, tools, content and learning experiences
Creatively and proactively lead development and engagement of Expert Advocates as community manager for La Mer’s internal Instagram and Facebook groups, ensuring alignment with key brand social campaign moments, the global marketing calendar and the successful execution of La Mer’s Go to Market campaign strategies
Partner with Global Service Experience and Education team and Regional Education Managers to develop Expert Advocates at the Regional and Local levels, including hosting ongoing education workshops to help continually develop skillsets at all levels, providing personalized feedback on pre- and post-virtual classroom assignments
Responsible for ongoing optimization of all aspects of La Mer’s internal YouCam platform at the Global and Regional levels, managing and developing the seasonal content calendar, producing and scripting live, bi-monthly shows hosted by regional talent as well as by directly hosting live YouCam sessions as needed
Work with Global Service Experience and Education, Consumer Experience, Marketing and Creative teams to support the creation of new consumer-facing video content as necessary, acting as liaison to Global Creative teams to ensure that all consumer-facing video content adheres to proper product demonstration and service experience guidelines
Oversee ongoing development of seasonal updates for both new and existing Certification and Advocacy programs, tools and experiences for Experts and Multi-Brand Associates, ensuring that materials are delivered to markets on time, within brand code and provided with appropriate education support to ensure a seamless market rollout
Partner closely with Global Consumer Experience team and external consultants to support development of new, ad hoc market-facing Virtual Selling and Advocacy resources as needed
Responsible for management of the La Mer Global Uniform program from start to finish, including working with the Regional teams to understand top market needs with APAC as the priority, partnering with the Global Service Experience and Creative teams to make sure designs are aligned with brand guidelines as well
as working closely with the uniform vendor to ensure that the development and production of all proper uniform selections are available for markets to order ongoing and as needed
Responsible for optimization of the La Mer Advisory Board, working closely with two Board co-chairs to ensure calendar reflects current brand priorities, facilitates maximum engagement and ideation with Board members via well-prepared discussion forums and report back regularly to Global Brand President with key insights
Responsible for budget management of individual programs to contribute to overall budget management of the Global Service Experience and Education team. This includes cross-charging markets as needed and reconciliation of monthly Departmental expenses
Deliver all programs and materials on time and within designated budget
Qualifications
5 years of related experience
BA/BS in marketing, journalism or related field
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Familiar with social media management and analytical tools to manage engagement of La Mer Experts
Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail and follow-up
Proven ability to self-manage, work in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple projects simultaneously with a strong attention to detail and follow-through
Excellent customer service skills, professional attitude, flexibility and ability to handle change in a positive manner
Computer skills including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe Reader, Adobe Publisher and Articulate 360
Well-versed in all social media platforms
Travel may be required (10%)
