Position Overview :
Develop, manage, and oversee all content and educational materials to support new innovation, existing product lines and seasonal promotions. Ensure overall look and feel of Education materials are fashion forward and meets CND standards and brand guidelines.
Reports to: Director, Global Education
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (not intended to be all inclusive):
Content development; Curriculum Development; Writing & Editing; Graphic Design; Videography Direction; Visual and Digital Content Translation; Asset management; Communication; Apply learning theory
Conduct on-going content audit and curriculum evaluation to ensure CND’s Education leadership is at the forefront for all learner types and relevant technologies.
Design and create learning solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders for delivery of on-brand training materials for product launches and seasonal promotions.
Collaborate with Global Marketing, R&D and Nail experts to develop technical story and materials to support new innovation and update existing (i.e. FAQ’s, Product Profiles, Step by Steps, Nail Style How-tos’, Encyclopedia chapter, class modules, video assets)
Track innovation timeline and marketing calendar to deliver Education assets based on market launch timing.
Gather message, claims, ingredient lists for all Education assets.
Coordinates all video assets, including scripts, filming coordination, editing and routing approvals
Route all assets to Legal, R&D, and Global Marketing to ensure proper protocols and safe practices are diffused to the salon.
Proof and coordinate copy editing for all education assets.
Update CND Learning Management Systems including cnd.com, the Revlon Pro APP, FTP site and other communication channels with latest content/assets.
Serve as liaison to Global Marketing and Sales to ensure content is relevant to markets and upholds global consistency and standards.
Participates in quarterly GEM & Innovation Planning meetings with Co-Founder, Global Marketing, NA and International Education to collaborate on innovation, education strategy, content, and program development.
Bachelor’s degree a requirement with Master’s Degree preferred
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Extremely detailed oriented and able to manage complex projects; Ability to effectively and efficiently handle multiple and shifting priorities in a fast paced environment
Experience in Learning & Development, curriculum or instructional design.
Understanding of different adult learning styles.
Strong writing, editing, proof-reading, verbal and presentation skills
Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, and PPT)
Additional Technical Skills a plus: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, HTML, WordPress
Videography and Video Editing Skills a plus
Understanding of Nail category a plus
Certified Learning & Development (CLDP) credential a plus
