Manager, Learning and Development
In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing learning strategies and programs that meet the Bank's overall objectives. In addition, you will evaluate the effectiveness of these programs on an individual and organizational basis to maximize talent, improve retention and ensure continuous alignment to organizational goals.
Partner with VP of Training, and Executive Management to identify, develop, implement and monitor opportunities for learning and development across the Bank. Ensure continuous offering of programs to drive retention and engagement
Design and implement programs and resources to enhance employee skills and ensure the skills are in line with the organizational growth and objectives
Work with the DEI team to develop strategies for DEI training, workshops and avenues for continuous learning. Create a leadership program designed to attract and develop a diverse workforce
Establish the employee journey and helps develop L&D into the fabric of that journey. Assess and re-evaluate the programs to ensure they are successful and meeting objectives
Collaborate with the VP of Total Rewards to institute a career path journey toward succession planning and career growth modeling
Engage in learning and development discussions with managers and leaders that supports the performance philosophy and continues individual grown that drives organizational success
Expand on current Summer Associate and Credit Trainee programs to maximize learning experiences and diverse talent potential
Required Education and experience:
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in an HR environment with strong training platform or related business experience
Knowledge of career and/or organizational growth platforms
Problem solver, strong communication both verbal and written along with excellent presentation skills
Clearly and effectively present information to all levels of employees; demonstrate affinity with employee learning and employee technologies; possesses analytical aptitude
Financial Services organizational knowledge is a plus
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
