Manager Marketing Clinique Travel Retail Worldwide
Position will support the management of the Skincare category, with the ongoing analysis of business, competition and market trends to develop strategies and programming appropriate for all regions that will maximize sales and control costs. Position is responsible for leading the development and communication of all Marketing programs and updates to the field and various internal brand teams. Position supports the Skincare Director and is a day-to-day contact supporting global brand marketing, regional marketing teams, and all related interdisciplines. Furthermore, this role is key in supporting the development of strategic Skincare iHub/continuous TREX.
Support 360° strategy to achieve market share growth within Clinique Skincare.
Responsible for driving Hero franchise market share while ensuring relevance in travel corridors.
Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis that result in key commercial insights and initiatives.
Identify commercial, new product, and consumer opportunities to drive growth within skincare category
Establish and drive Festive marketing go-to-market strategy to capitalize on key traffic moments.
Partner with key local key markets (China, Korea, UK, Nordics, North America) to ensure synergized strategy and execution between Travel retailer and local market
Category Management / Business Analysis
Maintain marketing calendar to reflect the brand’s Skincare program priorities.
Responsible for leading all aspects of Global-led or TR-led new product launch activity, including but not limited to concept generation, COG review, forecasts, creative/packaging, merchandising, and promotional elements in coordination with cross-functional teams. Ensuring launches meet the brand’s strategic and financial targets.
Responsible for defining Retailer exclusive strategy and managing Global TREX, driving iHub sets creation with iHub Director, and managing retailer exclusive offers/ iHub sets with cross-functional teams.
Lead the annual Skincare Line Edit review.
Maintain and issue seasonal master assortments.
Responsible for post-launch recaps and monthly business review for skincare category whenever necessary.
Develop and drive 360° commercial strategy including Visual Merchandising, Education, Digital, and Pricing.
Work with Visual Merchandising to drive campaign launch and Hero evergreen VM guideline.
Track all seasonal merchandising documents and planograms, with Visual Merchandising. Managing communication of VM elements needed from VM per season.
Responsible for the preparation of marketing presentations for sales meetings and retailer presentations.
Work closely with Demand planning team and Lachen Distribution Center on new product launch forecasts and event managements on all Skincare Saleable, TREX, and on-saleable.
Responsible for the tracking of shipments of all new and limited life products from plant to Lachen (distribution center).
Manage master assortment and SKU activity with Regional Teams and Lachen.
Drive Excess management on a monthly basis to keep excess level within target.
