The Global Fragrance Marketing Brand Manager will be the brand development lead and work with Marketing and Regional leadership to identify areas of opportunity both regionally and globally, that will drive profitable growth. An ideal candidate will drive thought leadership and identify gaps in both our current offerings and new territories. The two key goals for this role will be: 1) develop a pool of ideas that fill the strategic innovation funnel and tightly manage projects and teams to deliver a full mix on-time full and 2) Work with regional and marketing leads to incorporate innovation and communications as part of their holistic Revlon strategy.

The Global Fragrance Marketing Brand Manager, Global, will report directly to the Director, Global Fragrance Marketing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for global marketing activities related to program/product development, as well as functions supporting the Global & Regional marketing team. The candidate will work with the Director, Global Fragrance Marketing to drive the development of marketing plans and strategies for Mass Fragrances, including Elizabeth Taylor, utilizing their prior knowledge of marketing activities to help launch innovative new products and campaigns on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing a strategic brand plan, complete with outlined objectives, strategy, and tactics ensuring growth goals are met. In conjunction with Director, drive the creation of all presentations (i.e. global marketing meetings, seasonal brand presentations to markets & licensors)

  • Assist in the creation of all-new fragrance and package design, develop and prepare the creative briefs detailing the vision. Collaborate with in house teams, Fragrance Houses, Designers & external Agencies in the creation of new projects

  • Drive and manage all aspects of innovation from idea to launch. Includes insight development and testing, portfolio mix, business case modeling, communication & POS assets, and sell-in through each stage gate

  • Develop creative 360 marketing for product launches

  • Work closely with Operations/Procurement team to execute, develop and order all items each season and Global Sales teams to collect forecasts and maintain budgets

  • Act as liaison between Creative, Packaging, R&D, and Regulatory team to ensure that all artwork needs are met for new product development

  • Facilitate the conception-to-market process and manage to deliver products on time and within budget. Includes presentations new product concepts/strategy, competitive analysis, forecast rationale, and consumer research per the Director Global Fragrance Marketing needs

  • Liaise with cross-functional partners to bring new programs to market, ensure key timeline dates & COG budgets are met, and see the program through the launch process

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the current global market environment and industry trends, oversee category and competitive analysis, stay abreast of latest competitive activities and sales, including trend reports, influencers' activities, social media, and competitive digital programs

  • Track, with Director, Global Fragrance Marketing, approval process with Licensor (Fashion House) ensuring approval deadlines are met and timelines are followed strictly

  • Oversee promotional development & execution of managed brands

Requirements:

  • 5 years of relevant work experience in marketing or brand management. Global brand development a plus

  • BA or BS degree from an accredited college/university

  • Strong project management skills and understanding of the New Product Development process from ideation to execution

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with best-in-class power-point deck presentation skills for content and design

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

  • Able to think strategically and creatively, conceptualize and implement new ideas

  • Proactive problem-solving skills

  • Must be an excellent team player with the ability to build, foster and nurture relationships with members of cross-functional teams & external parties including Licensor

  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative

  • An entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for fragrances

  • Experience in fragrance, cosmetics, beauty, or personal care categories a plus

  • Experience in managing external Licensing relationships a plus

  • Experience in Mass fragrance/consumer goods a plus

  • Experience in social media a plus
