PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE:

Travel Retail is one of the fastest growing, dynamic, profitable and fast paced channels in the world – Estee Lauder brand is the #1 in TR for prestige beauty worldwide, growing 3 times faster than the market. The Marketing Manager will provide category support in the management of Estee Lauder Travel Retail (TR) Makeup and Fragrance categories, as well as Aerin Brand in TR. This position will lead applied marketing programs and support trade marketing. Manage day to day responsibilities with efficiency and effectiveness while meeting long-term strategic objectives. This Position partners closely with Travel Retail regional marketing teams (based in Singapore, London, and Miami), cross-functional teams, as well as Global Marketing leads. Position will support the Marketing Director on all aspects of marketing strategy for the categories.

Product Marketing / SKU Management:

Cultivate close collaborative relationships with key partners to understand business needs and opportunities, and ensure new programs meet regions/markets specific needs.

Responsible for all Applied Marketing related tools include but not limited to full Makeup and Fragrance assortment (newness and line edit), forecast proposal with guidelines, seasonal marketing calendars, and marketing presentations for the respective Travel Retail Regions.

Responsible for managing and implementing usage tracking across the regions to ensure minimal excess of both saleable and non-saleable SKUs

Responsible for seasonal pricing list to ensure customers are set up with the proper assortments and pricing guidelines.

Partner closely with Supply Chain and Demand Planning to improve service levels, understand and manage stock inventory and all aspects of product management to deliver monthly target.

Business Analysis:

Responsible for the development of quarterly business performance reviews – sell-in, sell-thru, subcategory trends, and product performance. Look for insights, provide recommendations, and initiates change.

Show strong data analytics skills to analyze sales, inventory, and shipment reports, as needed.

Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting support.

Consumer Engagement:

Create briefs, proposals and strategies to drive engagement with travelling consumers online and own the relationship with the TR Corporate Digital team in partnership with Director.

Assist Director in the management of retailer exclusive 360 campaign planning

Have an understanding and/or interest in the digital and social media landscape within the beauty industry. Collaborate with regional marketing and digital teams to understand the most relevant and best performing platforms, ideate initiatives that will enhance consumer journey across awareness, engagement, and conversion touch points.

Liaise with global brand consumer engagement team to evaluate new and innovative capabilities. Adapt global programs to enhance the experience relevant for the traveling consumer.

Product Development and Project Management, Travel Retail Exclusive Programs:

TR Exclusives are a unique offering in the Travel Retail Channel which represents nearly 50% of our business and are overseen by the TR Marketing team in collaboration with TR Set Innovation team.

Work closely with the Marketing Director and TR Set Innovation team to lead a 3-year rolling strategy on TR Exclusive (TREX) programs, identify portfolio gaps and white space opportunities, and conceptualize sets and palettes.

Oversee program development to ensure programs to deliver on time.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 5 years of experience in trade, product, consumer marketing or relevant commercial fields.

College/University degree required, MBA a plus.

Degree in Marketing preferred

Prestige makeup experience a plus

Digital and social media skills a plus, awareness of Asia market social media platforms

Must be self-motivated, proactive, and well-organized.

Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to think strategically and translate complex ideas and processes to action.

Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Superior written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Demonstrates agility and adaptability to changing market needs.

Must have understanding or interest in international commercial business.

Strong skillsets in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
