Manager, Marketing, Free Standing Stores/Omni, MAC NA
The Trade Marketing Manager for FSS/Omni will support the Director to drive the channel’s strategy and execution. This role involves 360 strategic planning and execution for Free Standing Stores including but not limited to, tailoring & forecasting of programs, implementation of local programs, strong CRM, clienteling and loyalty integration, rollout and tracking of retail pilots & Omni channel optimization, promotion strategy including discount programs/gwps/sampling, store merchandising, event support and SKU management, as well as constant communication with the field.
Support execution of marketing and promotional programs in FSS in line with local relevancy, consumer targets and brand equity.
Exhibit strong understanding of all drivers of retail and business performance (including quantitative and qualitative data) to consistently optimize FSS strategy and execution.
- STRATEGIC PLANNING
Work closely with Trade Marketing Director to lay out promotional calendar for each season, leveraging what’s worked in the past and driving a synergized omni approach to the business.
In partnership with cross-functionals, develop 360-degree activation plans for new initiatives in FSS including client journey in store, synergizing omni experience (BOPIS, OOFIS), clienteling, sampling, proper merchandising and signage and promotional support.
Work closely with FSS launch and basic inventory planning team to ensure sufficient launch and basic inventory levels are met based on channel specific marketing plans
Maintain accurate FSS consumer database by consumer demographics and segmentation
- CONSUMER RELATIONSHIP & OMNI OPTIMIZATION
Collaborate with Brande-commerceteam on execution tactics to drive sales to stores from ecommerce and deliver outsized omni growth.
Partner with NA Online & CRM teams to develop best in class clienteling and retargeting tactics.
Coordinate and execute localized FSS media campaigns while providing results and ROI analysis
Work with NA Consumer Engagement and Online teams to develop digital and social campaigns supporting in-store traffic
Work closely with Artist relation and PRO teams to leverage opportunities at the local level.
Track consumer profile by store to guide distribution and visualization strategies.
- EXCELLENCE IN EXECUTION
Drive success of MAC launches in region through local consumer understanding and product category management
Work closely with retail operations team and ongoing Setup of promotions in relate system and communicate in RTM communication tool as well as result tracking
Create, drive and manage collateral timelines and communications to stores
Help cross functional teams in executing special events, Public relations and Artist relations opportunities.
Collaborate with visual merchandising team on creating differentiated in-store experience through unique merchandising and collateral opportunities and key category distortion.
Work closely with corporate COEs in streamlining information to the field.
Lead social media direction for individual store Instagram accounts.
Support in creation of channel marketing and promotional calendars.
Undergrad or Master degree
5 years relevant working experience, preferably in operational marketing in beauty or Fashion. Retail experience is strongly appreciated.
Strategic mindset AND excellence in execution/attention to detail are critical
Strong understanding of digital, CRM and consumer data
Independent, proactive, hands-on, well organized with exceptional organizational and follow up skills
Very strong communication and analytical skills
Project management skills, ability to prioritize and adjust to multiple needs
