Job Description

Location:New York, NY

Manager, Partner Marketing is an important role in the Consumer Marketing organization, reporting to the VP of Commerce for a Portfolio of brands. This Manager will be responsible for delivering growth to the organization through strategic non-affiliate partnerships. This individual will be responsible for identifying and completing compelling brand partner alliances that drive incremental revenue growth and provide our customers a unique value proposition.

This role requires a seasoned leader with a record of crafting successful strategic partnerships that leverages the unique offerings of Conde Nast brands as a whole. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape a new partnership strategy for Conde Nast while serving as our brand steward in the marketplace.

This position is based at our headquarters at 1 World Trade Center, New York, NY.

Primary Responsibilities

Partnership Strategy: Develop a holistic brand partnership strategy to create mutually beneficial brand partnerships based on the strategic priorities of the brand working closely with the Commerce Managing Editors and Editors in Chief. The goal of this position is to broker partnerships that add incremental value on an organization level based on the strategic vision of the brand.

Build Go to Market Plans:You should have the ability to quickly develop expertise and a point of view, to ideate partnership opportunities, and generate clear, concrete go-to-market plans.

Execute Partnerships: Activities will include: defining new partnership opportunities, developing targets and sales materials, financial modelling, drafting and negotiating complex legal agreements,proposal development and integration activities.

Relationship Driven: Establish a collaborative business relationship between Conde Nast and Fortune 100 companies. Leverages lead sources to identify opportunities and proactively engage with prospects.

Collaboration:, Lead and coordinate with various internal partners throughout the organization (Advertising, Subscription, Membership, Marketing, Finance, Legal) to negotiate the most optimal deal for the company. Responsible for successful execution of partnership by collaborating with respective teams internally.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
At least three to four years of progressive experience in business development or partnerships.
Proven track record of success in sales negotiations and closing skills with Fortune 100 companies.
This individual will be comfortable communicating directly with C-level executives in organizations and can build relationships with key decision-makers. Detail-oriented and persistent.
Is self-motivated to succeed with a passion around uncovering synergies between partners and Conde Nast brands with a willingness and aptitude for managing up and sideways in a matrix organization.
They should have experience leading complex, high-impact projects with cross-functional teams.
Preferably has experience with affiliate marketing and managing coupon partners.
Bachelor's degree required.
