Role Summary:

Works closely with Director of Trade

Marketing and Account Lead to tailor marketing campaigns to specific retailer needs,

ensuring campaigns are 360 and that all non-saleable assets are organized so

that the right products arrive at the right place at the right time; covers

basic and launch. Manages all Prestige Department Store accounts, with key

focus on select accounts.

Skill Summary:

Strong creative vision, knowledge of

360 marketing campaigns (including new media) and solid project management



  • Assist in thedevelopment and execution of omni account programming and marketing to increasemarket share, sales and profit, capitalize on growth opportunities, and driveelevated consumer experience

  • Work withAccount Lead to maintain relationships with retailers, develop businessstrategies, capitalize on growth opportunities and minimize potential riskfactors

  • Partner withHead of Account Management and Trade Marketing Director to establish andcommunicate clear goals and objectives for the account, including sales andshipment plans to support seasonal objectives (Holiday, key launch initiatives,retailer exclusives)

  • Develop 360communication for all key initiatives to be executed by the field ( Visualmoments, Key Animation distortions)

  • Evaluate andassess brand performance (ie, category objectives, holiday cadence, etc),review with Head of Account Management and Trade Marketing Director todetermine effectiveness of marketing programs; establish appropriate actionplan; communicate results on key initiatives to the Account, NYO and Field

  • Able toconceptualize, present to leadership, and execute a full 360 marketing campaigntailored to retailer needs and provide clear instructions to the creative teamto execute

  • Track andensure all assets required for marketing campaigns are on-time for marketingprograms; route ROP, printed materials and broadcast buys for the account

  • Guide thedevelopment of retailer presentations of the marketing program, with the goalof generating Account support for Bobbi’s seasonal marketing and promotionalprograms

  • Continuouslylook forward ensuring all key learnings are communicated effectively to impactfuture decision making regarding programs and strategies relevant to drivegrowth in the key accounts

  • Developseasonal advertising strategy and work with Trade Marketing Director onmanagement of coop budgets for both Stores & MCOM channels

  • Create seasonalpromotional calendars with the Account Leads, maintaining all side-by-sides andmedia cost sheets

  • Responsible forAchievement of Shipment Plan/Maximizing order writing

  • Collaboratewith Planning & Lead OE partner to maximize all programming and event planswith the appropriate support to maximize results

  • Take activerole in weekly status calls with Accounts

  • Lead contentcreation, meeting planning for Market Meeting – including preview sessions

  • 5 years relevant experience

  • Abilityto collaborate and communicate cross-functionally, with retail partners,internal partners, Nordstrom Key Account team and field

  • Abilityto thrive in a fast paced environment where flexibility is a key component

  • Rightside/left side of brain thinker, combining creative and business skills

  • Strongattention to detail while simultaneously capable of seeing the whole picture

  • Abilityto maximize resources (people, budget), operate efficiently and follow-through

  • Abilityto make strategic, analytical and fact-based recommendations linked to a clearunderstanding of marketing of a brand at point-of-sale

  • Positionrequires strong leadership, project management skills, budget management andnegotiation skills

  • Has ageneral knowledge of beauty industry and retailer programs

  • Self-starterwith the ability to work independently

  • Excellent written & verbal communication , comfortable presenting to all levels of management and working within a matrix organization
