Develop and lead relationships with current and prospective clients – both externally and internally - and establish credibility with senior Guidehouse colleagues in order to be recognized as a market leader.
Investigate potential money laundering and fraudulent financial activity across client business lines.
Assess Financial Crimes compliance programs and implement recommended changes/controls and solutions as well as work with other Global Investigations & Compliance practice leaders to contribute to the development of intellectual property and thought leadership.
Provide subject matter expertise in the areas of anti-money laundering and financial fraud investigations.
Participate in business development initiatives that include targeting external clients, and attending industry conferences and speaking engagements.
Lead and supervise teams on small, medium, and large engagements.
Train and develop analysts, senior analysts, and managers.
Engagement planning and management.
Prepare client communications, both written and oral, for senior level review.
Candidates must currently reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, New York City, or Washington, DC area, or be willing to relocate at their own expense.
7+ years of experience in financial crimes and/or litigation/disputes consulting firm or financial services industry and regulatory environment.
3-4+ years' experience leading and supervising teams on large engagements.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in accounting, finance, economics, or related discipline.
Outstanding project management skills in monitoring the billing of hours, training, development, and supervision.
Strong understanding of corporate governance and the regulatory environment.
Expertise in OFAC, EDD, KYC, BSA, CDD, and/or forensic accounting.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Able to understand the importance of privileged and confidential information, as well as manage multiple projects and meet timely deadlines.
Able to travel as needed.
CFE, CPA, and/or CAMS certification.
