Join William Morrow’s marketing department as a Marketing Assistant, supporting the Associate Publishers andMarketingdepartment onall aspects of marketing campaigns for a full title list that includes franchise bestsellers, discovery fiction, narrative nonfiction, cookbooks, and self-improvement.
Supports two Associate Publishers with general administrative tasks – scheduling, expense reports, meetings.
Supportsimprint with seasonal meeting preparation including agendas and packets for launch.
Supports Marketing Directors on executing campaigns for a variety of fiction, non-fiction, and lifestyle titles.
Writes copy for social media posts, trade and consumer letters, email blasts, newsletters, blog posts, etc.
Develop direct-to-reader relationships on social platforms to spread book awareness (blogs, Goodreads, etc).
Coordinates and manages titles for trade conferences throughout the year.
Contribute to the imprint’s social media accounts and is responsible for growing current platform.
Liaises with publicity, editorial, ad/promo and sales on AREs, galleys, and all collateral material needed for reps, booksellers, and consumers.
Prior internship experience in publishing and/or marketing
Strong knowledge of social media and web technologies (e.g. Facebook, Shortstack, Email deployment, Snapchat, Instagram)
Ability to work collaboratively
A motivated self-starter with a love for books
Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
4 year college degree or equivalent work experience
