The team delivers effective and efficient tactical marketing program that translate into submissions and revenue. The focus is on programs that are customer-centric. Moreover, it seeks to increase conversions, leverage the right channel mix that brings best ROI, and support and strengthen brand and product values.This role will report to the Director of Institutional Marketing Planning.Key relationships include Marketing Strategy, Business Development, Marketing Operations, Trade Sales Teams, eCommerce, as well as, all teams within Marketing Planning.Purpose of the RoleThe role's main goal is to translate the input from the Strategy Team into campaigns and activities with the key focus of maintaining and growing the reach with SN Trade partners / Retail B2B and through marketing activities, drive revenue to support the Sales goals. The Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the marketing activities with Amazon and other key Co-Op accounts. This role's holder will work in connection with the Trade Sales team as well as colleagues within Marketing Operations.Responsibilities:- Development of tactical marketing plan for Retail B2B customer approach, focused on maintaining strong relationships and driving book revenue, with a key focus on Amazon and Co-Op accounts.- Manage the marketing aspects of the SN account with the Amazon account on a day-to-day basis, ensuring all activities align with the SN's strategic objectives and sales targets.- Serve as one of the key points of contact between the SN and Amazon, maintaining a strong professional relationship and ensuring effective communication.- Monitor and analyze sales performance, customer behavior, and market trends on the various Amazon sites to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.- Collaborate with the Trade sales team to develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and enhance SN's presence on the various Amazon platforms and coordinate activities with Co-Op accounts.- Coordinate promotional activities, product launches, and marketing campaigns with Amazon and other Co-Op accounts, ensuring proper execution and timely delivery of assets.- Regularly review and optimize product listings, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information, appealing product offerings, and high-quality visuals to drive sales.- Proactively address any issues or concerns on the Amazon platforms or internal stakeholders, providing timely resolutions and maintaining customer satisfaction.- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in the Amazon platform landscape, sharing relevant insights and recommendations with the Trade sales team and other relevant departments.- Provide regular reports and analysis on account performance, sales metrics, and key performance indicators to the management team.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing Strategy, Marketing Planning and Marketing Operations, and, where necessary, customer service, to streamline processes and ensure efficient operations related to the Amazon and Co-Op accounts.Experience, Skills & Qualifications:*- Bachelor's/University degree in Marketing or closely related field or equivalent professional experience.- 3+ years marketing experience in STM marketing, eCommerce or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Experience with online advertising, experience with Amazon advertising is desired but not necessary.- Knowledge and understanding of the Trade / Retail B2B market- Proven abilities in developing and implementing effective and efficient marketing plans connecting strategy with the right tactics and channels.- High degree of autonomy, initiative and resilience.- Proactive style with strong interpersonal and networking skills.- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, anticipate required activities/tasks, and work according to changing priorities and deadlines.- Demonstrated ability to present clearly and confidently.- Comfortable to work to deadlines and within budget.- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.- Willingness to facilitate change and possess strong teamwork skills.- Ability to partner with different levels and teams throughout the organization and externally.- Strong understanding of marketing needs for business units and target personas B2B and Institutional landscape.- Flexibility and openness to innovative ideas.- High competence in project management.- Excellent digital marketing and customer engagement skill-set.- Ability to adapt as needed in response to continuous monitoring of program performance and a changing environment.- Demonstrated ability to present clearly and confidently.- Strong analytical skills and high focus on performance and ROI.- Demonstrated ability to work in a global environment.- Strong communication and collaboration capabilities.- Positive attitude towards change and actively drive these changes.#LI-EG1Springer Nature US provides a comprehensive and competitive benefits package which includes the benefit offerings listed below: * Medical, Dental and Vision * 401(k) with company match and contribution * Hybrid office working policy, Summer Hours, and paid time off * Flexible Spending and Commuter programs * Multiple Life insurance options * Disability coverage * Tuition Assistance * Voluntary benefits: Identity Theft Protection, Pet Insurance, and Legal Assistance Insurance * Employee Assistance Program * Family friendly benefits and a variety of employee discounts * An array of Employee Social NetworksAnnualized Base Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000. The salary offer may vary based on work experience, education and skill level.
