About the Opportunity
The Territory Marketing Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day Marketing efforts for the Tri-State territory, inclusive of NYC and surrounding WeWork markets/locations. As part of the US and Canada (USC) Marketing team, the candidate will be a strategic partner to the Tri-State Sales and Community teams and be the main Marketing point of contact for local stakeholders.
The individual will be responsible for leveraging and translating business and sales data to develop strategic marketing recommendations at a local level in line with regional goals. In this role, you'll also oversee the local development, budgeting, rollout and measurement of those performance-based marketing and advertising initiatives across local channels and tactics (including local events, partnerships, sponsorships, advertising, email and other marketing initiatives that specifically address the needs at a market level). You will work in close partnership with internal resources - both across the wider Marketing organization as well as various other departments including Sales, Community, Real Estate, and Legal - and external vendors/partners.
The Territory Marketing Manager role will support the business by primarily developing programs to help grow the WeWork member base (which includes consumers, small businesses, brokers and enterprise companies) across our suite of products. This also includes working closely with RE broker agency partners and helping foster relationships with the wider brokerage community via specific marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned marketing professional, with solid experience across online and offline channels and experience in both B2C and B2B marketing (preferably in the real estate industry). They should have a proven track record for having built and executed awareness and acquisition programs. The right candidate is a creative problem solver, insights/research driven, and has a good grasp on how to localize a global brand/product.

Develop and execute strategic marketing plans that support Tri-State markets as well as individual WeWork buildings (asset marketing), in close partnership with Sales

Manage budget for Tri-State markets

Responsible for generating top of funnel leads through marketing efforts

Partner with the US and Canada (USC) Marketing team and the Global Marketing organization to localize regionally developed programs for applicable markets

Partner with USC Creative team and/or external resources on local marketing initiatives

Serve as the key point of contact for local Sales teams and work to bridge the relationship with the Marketing organization

Work with various stakeholders to understand the full market landscape and nuances of each territory, including: target audiences, competitors, key organizations/influencers, local media

Strategy and content for hyper-local email marketing campaigns

Assist sales team on key initiatives to develop strategic partnerships with business decision makers and the brokerage community

Plan and execute local events to grow brand awareness/consideration and strengthen relationships with real estate industry partners

Evangelizing/educating the Sales team on the collective marketing plans

Collaborate with USC Marketing leadership on KPIs, budget, and forecasting

Tailor creative and communication to fit with the market/target strategy/industry indexing across advertising assets and sales collateral

Responsible for developing reporting: YTD monthly building progress, monthly spend tracking, recaps on initiatives rolled out
Experience and Requirements

Bachelor's degree

Minimum 6 years' experience in real estate marketing, brand or integrated marketing, field marketing or related marketing responsibilities

Real estate interest and understanding is crucial

Willingness to be an independent worker

Comfortable with frequent change in a fast-paced environment that is typical of an emerging company

Results driven and able to ensure completion of tasks

Highly organized and detail-oriented

Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills

Creative thinking and flexibility - ability to multitask and handle pressure easily

High level of personal credibility, networking and interpersonal skills, dependability, and accountability

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage critical situations

Ability to work in a matrix organization and demonstrate team leadership skills

Strategic and analytical thinker

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite and presentation software

The role may include travel throughout Tri-State (post-COVID) and, at times, travel to WeWork headquarters in New York.
