Sesame Workshop Marketing Manager in New York, New York
Sesame Workshop is looking for a Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing marketing strategies and executing plans to elevate the overall brand of Sesame Workshop and its growing portfolio of programs and properties. In collaboration with the Marketing & Communications, Social Impact, and Media & Education teams, the Marketing Manager will support program, distribution, and partner-related needs, includingglobal marketing campaigns,franchise planning, brand management, and creative development.

Key Responsibilities
Provide marketing support for new and existing Sesame Workshop programs and properties
Conceptualize and execute marketing campaigns; collaborate closely with business teams, external partners, and media and creative agencies
Develop, build, and manage our global brand presence; ensure brand consistency across all programs, communication channels, and partnerships
Explore opportunities to elevate Sesame Workshop's nonprofit mission to help kids grow smarter, stronger, and kinder; drive storytelling efforts to help bring Sesame's mission to life through consumer, donor, and other audience touchpoints
Help develop strategies to integrate cross-divisional marketing efforts
Provide strategic counsel and develop a "trusted advisor" relationship with aligned stakeholders
Recommend and advise on options and capabilities utilizing marketing and communications best practices and channel knowledge
Work hand-in-hand with Brand Creative and Production to oversee the development of branded assets, including project style guides, promotional materials, social media content, and event-related collateral
Work closely with social media team to plan and implement social media efforts for project announcements, launches, and global awareness days; keep a pulse on emerging trends in social media content and experiment with new ideas and formats
Conceive and develop dynamic storytelling collateral that communicates to external audiences in creative and compelling ways, including presentations, fact sheets, newsletters, videos, infographics, case studies/testimonials and more
Spearhead photo/video shoots and development of new videos, including drafting creative briefs, writing scripts, conducting interviews, identifying and securing creative resources, and pre/post-production
Partner with business area stakeholders to enhance creative brief quality and identify key messages
Ensure that the creative team understands stakeholder requirements and perspective and that the final output aligns as appropriate
Collaborate with designers and writers to ensure product delivers on stakeholder promises
Review products for quality, consistency, accuracy, and advancement of the visual and verbal brand in design reviews, and ensure that consistent image/message is conveyed across the stakeholder's products
Appropriately balance stakeholder desires, business needs, marketing standards, and brand identity
Act as a marketing resource for colleagues throughout the organization by offering strategic direction and guidance on IP usage, messaging, and creative
Leverage research, reports, and data to support stakeholder business solution strategies
Manage and oversee marketing asset library, including presentations, videos, raw video footage, and photography
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience; expertise in the non-profitspace a plus
Seasoned media professional, preferably in children's media
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize deadlines
Demonstrated experience building successful cross-functional relationships at all levels
Broad understanding of traditional and emerging channels
Knowledge of marketing best practices in the B2C and B2B fields
Expertise in applicable applications and tools such as Microsoft Office and project management software. Expert skills in PowerPoint
Superior project management and organizational skills
