GENERAL FUNCTION

The Account Marketing Specialist works in conjunction with the Account Marketing Manager to develop and execute wholesale omnichannel marketing programs designed to drive business for all product categories. Ensure that supported Brands are strategically positioned and presented in a brand enhancing way to achieve defined business objectives within their channels of trade. Activities including developing POP materials, creating sales contests, implementing in-store promotions, activating seasonal events, etc.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports Account Marketing Manager in the development of various marketing materials for the sales force & customers (i.e., POS materials, sales brochures, etc.).

  • Helps to drive account marketing strategies with account segmentation, tailored customer solutions in an omnichannel market approach.

  • Tracks competitive activities, ROI, category issues in the wholesale environment and provides feedback to internal resources.

  • Distributes and collects forecasts from Sales team for all account marketing materials.

  • Links account marketing and operational services to track incoming fixtures and POP while communicating outgoing delivery to channel managers and sales force.

  • Preparing and submitting purchase orders and setting up new vendors.

  • General maintenance of the account marketing budget and providing administrative support as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field

  • 2+ year(s) of Marketing related experience

  • Proficient in all Windows applications

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team

  • Understanding of account marketing activities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Ability to prioritize and handle additional responsibilities as required and assigned

  • Basic understanding of budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management principles

  • Ability to solve problems quickly, think creatively and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Motivated self-starter, process-oriented with a high attention to detail

  • Ability to maintain professional relationships with all business contacts, sales force and customers

  • Fluent English written & spoken communication

  • Ability to travel domestically

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • SAP experience

  • Experience in the retail environment

  • A love of sports and the outdoors
