ROLE SUMMARY
Pfizer's Pharmaceutical Marketing organization spans numerous business units that are comprised of innovative and value-driven portfolios. Marketing colleagues are responsible for successfully positioning Pfizer's product portfolio in the highly competitive pharmaceutical marketplace. Marketing efforts span the creation and refinement of disease-area strategies, new product planning, brand launch preparation and implementation, as well as the creation, refinement, and evolution of brand positioning, messaging, and promotional initiatives. Marketers initiate rigorous market and product-specific research prior to launch of a new product to determine how to optimally position the product in the market. After launch, product positioning is continually tailored to maximize value for patients while capitalizing on market opportunities.

The Marketing Rotational Manager is part of Pfizer's Marketing Rotational Program (MRP), a 2-year MBA talent development program that offers the opportunity to gain a foundation of experiences in core marketing functions across business units. This program enables and empowers the development of diverse, future marketing leaders at Pfizer.

Within each of the four 6-month rotations, the Marketing Rotational Manager will be integrated into a marketing team and will be responsible for a commercial project focused in key areas relating to the pharmaceutical industry. Throughout the program, the Marketing Rotational Manager will have access to various career and leadership skills development opportunities and will have the chance to engage with fellow rotational colleagues, brand managers, and senior leaders to leverage their knowledge.

Hiring Manager: Marketing Rotational Program Lead

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Marketing Rotational Manager, you will be an integrated member of a team working on business-critical deliverables. You will own and lead some individual deliverables, while supporting other work as needed. The scope of work will be driven by the needs of the business, such as:
US Marketing - Brand Strategy, Tactical Execution, Promotional Material Development
Global Marketing - Global Brand Strategy, Product Launch, Above-Brand or Portfolio Strategy
Global Commercial Development - Early-Stage Global Brand Strategy and Market Development, Lifecycle Planning

QUALIFICATIONS
Successful Completion of the Pfizer Marketing Summer Associate Program
MBA candidate (completed 1st year) with an emphasis in Marketing, Healthcare Management and/or Strategy preferred
3-7 years of work experience required; previous consulting, pharmaceutical, or healthcare experience desirable
Other key qualities for success in this position include demonstrated ability to think strategically and problem solve, qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, ability to work in a team environment, willingness to take responsibility and initiative, and strong communication skills

May be required to travel with the team if there are any in-person meetings or conferences off site; these travels will comprise less than 10% of the time
