Generator Media Analytics Media Planner and Strategy in new york, New York

Position Summary: 

The Communications Strategy Media Planner is responsible for providing strategic planning support across all media channels. Candidate must have solid foundation of knowledge and experience across all media channels, with an emphasis on digital media. Candidate must exhibit a proven ability to plan, execute, report and analyze digital campaigns across paid social, display, native and video. A firm understanding of both branding principles and ROI driving tactics will be critical for this position.

Responsibilities 

  • Organize, implement and manage the day-to-day media planning process 

  • Contribute to media strategy for clients planning on a local and national basis 

  • Utilize available media planning tools (MRI & Kantar), other industry research and clients’ historical media activity reports to develop media plans 

  • Aid in the development of campaign set-up, including testing methodologies, reporting requirements and campaign construction  

  • Maintain budgets, creative trafficking, and invoicing 

  • Strong client interaction on a day-to-day basis 

  • Participate in the development of presentations for both existing and new clients 

  • Update Communications Strategy Supervisor on status of current accounts on an ongoing basis, identifying opportunities to optimize for maximum performance and elevating key issues or concerns as they arise 

  • Reviews all reporting dashboards for accuracy while identifying key performance insights to be integrated into client updates and presentations on an ongoing basis. 

  • Maintain a positive rapport with media vendor partners, keeping up to date with the latest trends in the marketplace. 

     

Requirements 

  • Minimum of 1-2 year’s media planning experience (focus on digital)  

  • Experience in digital and social activation including familiarity with Google Ads/ Campaign 360 (trafficking and reporting) and Social UIs (Meta/Twitter/LinkedIn, etc)  

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills 

  • Dependable, proactive, detail oriented, excellent attendance 

  • Ability to balance multiple assignments and set priorities 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication 

  • Demonstrate excellent analytical skills 

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills a must 

  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills are preferred 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
