Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with over 4,000 lawyers and staff in 30 offices is currently seeking a Mobility Applications Engineer. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Mobility, the Mobility Application Engineer is responsible for maintaining and updating the mobility systems resulting in secure, effective, responsive and efficient operation. This role supports critical projects that include EMM and security (Microsoft Intune), must be well versed in the management and security of devices (iOS, Android) and the applications that are installed on them. This position is to oversee and ensure proper day-to-day operation of the firm's mobility systems and services, ensuring operational excellence and high availability with a focus on providing exemplary user experience.

Responsibility:
Lead requirements gathering, design, implementation of all Mobility systems testing and stabilization.
Provide direction and leadership to the Mobility Analysts and Specialists to support, monitor, troubleshoot and maintain EMM systems, mobile devices and applications used throughout the firm.
Assess mobility infrastructure and devices to identify and analyze critical performance indicators and operational gaps that can pose significant risk.
Maintain subject matter level expertise in mobility technologies and system administration capabilities.
Provide level 2 & 3 tier support to investigate and resolve problems, inefficiencies, and performance issues which may require shift work or after hours calls.
Document Change Requests and adhere to change guidelines.
Provide project management support and ensure timely completion of projects designed to streamline workflow and/or resolve issues; assists with various firm and/or departmental projects and initiatives as assigned.
Serve as a team representative in meetings and communicate results to sponsors and other team leads.
Stay current and predict impact of developing mobile & cloud technologies
Work to maintain, and improve upon the day to day operational requirements of the Mobility Infrastructure.
Engage and interact with IT staff, all levels of personnel, other departments, and outside vendors, as well as obtain, document and communicate accurate business objectives received from the firm's business department.
Work closely with the Mobility Architect to research, develop and create systems design, architecture and strategies.
Oversee continuous monitoring of the systems, and delegate out standard day-to-day activities to ensure proper operation and proactive and prompt issue resolutions.
Implement configuration changes necessary to support new functionality and bug/issue fixes, as driven by business requests and infrastructure architect(s)/engineer(s).
Work with other IT teams in the development, implementation, testing, and rollout of new functionality, software, and applications as they relate to Mobility and SaaS.
Provide after hour support and participates in the On-Call rotation to address incidents and to maintain systems, support operational efforts and implement changes that would otherwise create business impact.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
This job requires:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, and, minimum 6 years of experience, or, equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of experience in the implementation, maintenance and administration of MDM and EMM platforms (i.e., Intune or equivalent).
Proven background in supporting and maintaining mobile devices, (e.g., iPhone, Android, iPads, etc.). Experience with iOS/iPadOS and Android and functionalities.
Working knowledge of networking concepts and working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Exchange systems and methodologies.
Thorough command of the industry language and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a variety of technical and non-technical users.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments, use initiative and judgment to accomplish results, participate as a team leader or member of a team, work under pressure and complete job assignments in an accurate, timely and professional manner.
Strong presentation, communication, interpersonal and customer service skills required and ability to interact effectively and professionally with all learning styles, personality types and levels of management, staff and a variety of external entities including clients and prospective clients of the Firm.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the knowledge of / be proficient in the following software:
Practical experience with Cloud technologies, Azure, AWS and/or Google
Azure Administrator experience (e.g., Intune, Enterprise Apps, Conditional Access Policies, Storage accounts, Static web pages, Automation, and Power platform)
Certificate management
SaaS configurations & administration
Management and distribution of Apple and Google mobile apps
iOS/iPadOS & Android app signing, provisioning and distribution
Rest API
OAuth, SAML
PowerShell
Experience with Linux & Windows servers
