Citi's Investment Banking is looking for Summer Analysts to join the Banking, Shareholder Advisory Group team in NAM. The Investment Banking group provides sector expertise and strategic advisory solutions, including mergers & acquisitions, capital raising and other strategic financings to corporate, financial service and public sector clients.

We're committed to teaching you the ropes. The 10 week Summer Analyst Program starts in June and begins with a 1 week in-depth training program. While you're in the Summer Analyst role, you're eligible to participate in Citi's mentorship program, which will provide further training and guidance during and after the Program. Top performing Summer Analysts often return to Citi after graduation to work as Full Time Analysts.

The Strategic Advisory Solutions (“SAS”) group is an innovative and growing part of the global Investment Banking team, with bankers located in New York, London and Hong Kong. This critical group provides a suite of specialty advisory services spanning M&A, activism, equities and debt capital markets to Citi’s global clients by harnessing a combination of deep sector experience, sophisticated technical product expertise, and integrated big data analytics.

The group integrates three main pillars: (i) structured M&A solutions (e.g., spin-offs, split-offs, RMTs, JVs, cross-border and other complex M&A and financing transactions), (ii) shareholder advisory, activism and raid defense and (iii) corporate finance insights and analysis related to capital allocation, capital structure and ratings. The group harnesses a combination of deep transaction and industry expertise along with big data analytics to deliver differentiated advice in live transactions and cultivate new business opportunities through building long-term client relationships.

The Analyst will play an important role working together with more senior Banking officers and professionals, and participating in particular client transactions, live projects or assignments, as the junior member of a professional team. This role is the foundation of an entrepreneurial enterprise with significant senior sponsorship within the firm.

We want to hear from you if…

  • You are graduating between December 2025 and June 2026 with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, economics, finance, statistics, or another quantitative field.
