Super Soccer Stars Coaching NY Metro Marketing Supervisor in New York, New York

Super Soccer Stars is looking to hire a full-time Marketing Supervisor to join our team to work hybrid (3 days at our corporate office located in Upper West Side, New York and 2 days remote or being in the field for the events). Marketing Supervisor will be responsible for directly overseeing and executing all aspects of the regional area marketing efforts and campaigns, as well as assisting with national campaigns. A focus will be placed on grassroots and guerrilla marketing efforts, as well as hyperlocal digital engagement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with strategy and management of local social media postings, including Facebook, Instagram, and additional channels as necessary. Specifically, engagement with local parent and mommy groups.

  • Coordinate grassroots efforts with our regional teams, both proactive and reactive strategies based on enrollment in classes and camps for Super Soccer Stars, Soccer Stars United, and Amazing Athletes

  • Strategize flyering and other guerrilla marketing tactics in targeted regional locations and surrounding areas

  • Oversee printing and distribution of marketing material regionally, including postcards, banners, lawn signs, flyers, pamphlets, etc.

  • Create marketing SOPs alongside marketing team to cover regional marketing profiles, grassroots strategies, digital best practices, design and language guidelines, compilation of analysis for promotional success, and strategic partnerships

  • Develop and sustain key community-based relationships including parent blogs and influencers throughout our regions and offer guidance and assistance

  • Identify and assist with coordination of promotional and seasonal events throughout our regions and offer guidance and assistance regionally

  • Maintain regional marketing requests and distribute to marketing team members as appropriate

  • Assist with tracking and management of regional marketing budgets

  • Assist with execution of eblast schedule, both nationally and regionally

  • Manage the publications strategy, budget and content delivery.

  • Manage regional text and email campaigns

Work Hours (40 hours/week)

Office hours changes depending on the season and either 9am to 6pm or 8:30am to 5pm. There will be an expectation of attending to the events which takes place on the weekends occasionally.

Marketing Supervisor will also need to be at multiple events during the week and on the field as part of grassroots marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related Business field

  • 2+ years of marketing and advertising experience, preferably in the sports or education industry

  • Strong understanding of marketing channels, including grassroots marketing, email marketing, social media, online advertising, SEM/SEO, and more

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns, preferably in grassroots

  • Graphic design experience preferred

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to travel across the city

  • Strong communication and knowledge of the city

  • Personable, intelligent, hard-working, outgoing, and energetic

  • Ability to work independently and proactively on projects and responsibilities

  • Organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently

Benefits

We offer a competitive starting salary ranging from $50,000 to $60,000, commensurate with experience. This position is also eligible for commission and/or bonus.
