Seeking an outstanding Cybersecurity Project manager with extensive experience. As the go-to person for highly visible projects, the Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager will leverage their technical expertise to ensure that individual projects and any dependencies or impacts to other projects are appropriately addressed and monitored. The project manager will be responsible for simultaneously executing numerous security-related projects under one complex program.

Manage a world-class NG911 deployment of Vesta product suite. Lead cross-functional teams, focused on delivering ultra-high availability NENA i3 compliant call-handling system

Familiarity with InfoSec concepts and issues

Manage this critical project through design, staging, verification and transition to maintenance and support

Partner with a high functioning team and customer partners to deliver a best in class emergency call handling system

Comfort in building strategies and schedules required

You will be expected to communicate with executives and engineers with ease

This role holds responsibility for both financial performance and functional success and delivery

Maintain cross-project dashboards and reports and lead internal cross-team project review meetings.

Establish trusted partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

A seasoned professional having wide-ranging experience - uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

Must have experience with NIST cybersecurity framework and understanding of federal directives and requirements related to cyber security

Experience in developing and/or using cybersecurity controls, best practices, and techniques.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be comfortable with public speaking and developing relationships across all levels of the enterprise

Budgeting and auditing experience strongly desired

Effective leadership and delegation abilities

Outstanding time management skills - should be able to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Experience with managing a team and dealing with personnel issues a plus

Effective leadership and delegation abilities

BA/BS (or global equivalent - engineering/computer science disciplines preferred) with at least 4 years of project management experience and 4 years of program management experience - preferred (OR)

Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate's degree, or the global equivalent), with at least 4 years of project management experience and 7 years of program management experience

PMP or MS in Project management strongly preferred

Proficient with Project Management tools; such as Microsoft Project, Smart Sheets, or equivalent scheduling tools

Desired Experience:

Cybersecurity focused project experience

Enterprise IT or large scale infrastructure deployment experience

Knowledge of NIST 800-53/FEDRAMP controls

Experience with requirements traceability and verification of requirements based testing

Enterprise IT infrastructure deployment

Large scale systems integration management

ITIL based process experience

Project management of design-build-maintain telecommunications networks

Hands-on experience with waterfall and agile methodologies.

Experience with standards and regulations, including but not limited to NIST

Strong understanding of core security technologies and how they relate to or depend on each other, including: Firewalls, routers, and switches. IDS/IPS. Anti-virus/anti-malware. DLP. DDoS technologies. Logging and monitoring technologies

Nice to have:

Experience delivering private-cloud solutions

Experience with SIEM systems integration

Experience with SOC operations and incident response

PMP certification

Bachelor's Degree (BSEE/BSCE/BSCS or MS preferred)Basic Requirements
At least ten (10) years of experience managing large projects/programs and project teams.
