Columbia Law School invites applicants for clinical faculty positions, across areas of practice and teaching experience. We are seeking candidates to join our dynamic, innovative, and diverse clinical faculty, and candidates who will the lead the future of clinical education. We welcome applications from outstanding candidates in any area of curricular expertise.
We are seeking faculty with exceptional leadership experience and potential, and who have a clear vision for their clinic and clinical education more broadly. We seek faculty committed to providing a powerful individual and collective learning experience where students serve as the primary providers of legal services, under close faculty supervision. Creative and thoughtful teaching that focuses on student development, law reform and advancement of the profession are also central. Diversity - of life experience, perspectives and approaches to lawyering - is essential and a very high priority. We seek faculty who are deeply engaged in intellectual activities outside of teaching, whether through scholarship, public talks, or otherwise. We also highly value collegiality and institutional citizenship.
Minimum Qualifications:
J.D. (or equivalent foreign law degree)
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching and practice experience commensurate with level of appointment.
