The Role
Bright Power is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, motivated person to join our New Yorkteam as the Operations Administrator. In this role, you will perform a variety of complexadministrative and project management activities. You will be an integral part of our New YorkBusiness Unit, working cross-functionally with the engineering division leaders to ensuresuccessful day-to-day operations. This person will report directly to the Operations Manager,New York.
Responsibilities
Review contracts to ensure proper adherence to billing terms
Provide project support and maintenance in our Salesforce platform
Manage the Local Law 87 submission process and communications with the Department of Buildings
Attend occasional on-site visits to assist project managers with building data collection
Assist with applications and deliverables for certifications/incentives (ex: Enterprise Green Community)
Set up necessary communication channels (internal/external) via Slack or Google Groups to help facilitate proper project management
Be a force for organization in the office and for our systems, ensuring materials are appropriately filed and stored
Manage safety certifications, tool inventory and tool repair/calibration schedule
Help optimize teams by suggesting process improvements and enforcing existing processes
Organize New York team meetings and events, both regular and seasonal
Assist co-workers with travel arrangements, event registration, project completion
Maintain calendars of internal staff, properties and external contractors
Other job duties assigned
Preferred Skills/ Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Google Sheets
Experience reviewing contracts and billing terms
Experience with project management, particularly projects related to energy, sustainability, construction, engineering, or retrofits
Excellent verbal and written communication
Excellent organization and time management skills
Detailed oriented and able to manage different competing priorities
Comfortable with managing billings, project budgets and calculations
Ability to quickly learn new software tools
Resourceful with a can-do attitude
Enthusiasm to work in a team-oriented environment providing ideas and open feedback
